As attractive as it is functional, National Geographic's Classic style political map of India is one of the most detailed and comprehensive maps ever published for India and southern Asia. It includes India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Tajikistan, and portions of China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Myanmar. The India map is punctuated with thousands of place names, and embellished with shaded relief which highlights the region's dramatic topography in such places as the Tibetan Plateau and the Himalaya. Also shown are the country's infrastructures, including airports, railroads, super highways, canals, major oil fields and pipelines, canals, and more. The map is encapsulated in heavy-duty 1.6 mil laminate which makes the paper much more durable and resistant to the swelling and shrinking caused by changes in humidity. Laminated maps can be framed without the need for glass, so the frames can be much lighter and less expensive. Very detailed and quite pretty
This map of India is really super detailed, even relatively small towns are marked and named. Because it's laminated it looks a bit fancy, and it's sturdy. I put it up in my home office, and I like it both as an actual map and as a wall decoration.

excellent india wall map
this map is an excellent reference for anyone unfamiliar, or mildly familiar, with india. provincial names are prominent and much detail is included. many geographic and coastal details can be found easily and there is a abundance of towns and cities named. this is a part of my asia wall map mosaic and this one became the southern anchor.

I looked long and hard for a map of India ...
I looked long and hard for a map of India. My only complaints are that the borders between states are hard to see and it is so busy! I really wanted a map that only showed the major cities. This shows so many cities that it is overwhelming.

Gorgeous map.
This is beautiful! And a great view of India which family appreciated a lot. It looks so much better in person than it does online. It was delivered in a plastic cylinder of sorts so the map retained its shape, which was nice.

What I was looking for
This is a big, laminated map of India (obviously). I bought it prior to a trip to India, and found it helpful and accurate (in my limited view) in preparing for the visit. The colors, print details, paper thickness, and lamination all add up to a quality product for a fair price.

India Map! Yay!
The map is perfect! I was looking for a map that wasn't laminated but couldn't find one, so I got this one. I love it! So glad it's laminated because it will last so much longer and I don't have to buy a frame! It took about a week, maybe a little more, to arrive, but it was so worth the wait! I love it!

It is perfect for our Gurdwara Sunday school. It is plastic coated, so it will last a very long time.
