I purposely bought this specific instant pot to make super gut yogurt (it requires a 36 hr fermentation, so I like that I am able to program how long and at what temp on the yogurt function—unlike the basic instant pot). I also boil eggs, make bone broth, and have made rice several times. Everything comes out perfectly. I did go ahead and buy a steam diverter to go on top of the steam real ease port because I hate the steam going straight up into my cabinets. I think Instant Pot should already include those! Otherwise, everything looks great and I am happy with my purchase.

Love this insta pot pro. It’s so easy to use. The pressure cooker doesn’t make all that rattling noice my old pressure cooker did. The steam vent is great. You can let some out easily if the recipe calls for it. My first meal cooked was corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and garlic. My husband loved it as did I. The potatoes had the flavor of garlic and meat. Corned beef was so juicy and delicious. Can’t wait to make lots of meals. Simple and delicious.

I use it to make a 36-hour dairy ferment. It makes the task a set-and-forget event. I love it for braising meats and fast, easy stews. It's a great product.
