whats the difference between the balm and cream?

From the ingredients list, I would say the balm is more occlusive and geared towards healing skin and the cream is lighter and just meant for moisture.

does the cream contain squalane and ceramide? Their answer to a similar question does not include those two.

It contains both (ceramide NP to be exact as far as that goes. It's the only ceramide in it though). Squalane is also about a little more than halfway down the list, so there's not a whole lot of it in there compared to other squalane ladden products. I would also like to say the finish feels and looks rather greasy, and not in the dewy way, so if that's not your thing you may not like this that much

Does this contain niacinamide?

The barrier cream does not contain niacinamide.
