I love this oil for the simple reason that it is precisely what is needed for my knives. The tip allows me to place the tiniest bit of oil exactly where it is needed, with no excess. This stuff came highly recommended, and it works great for restoring old knives. The little needle applicator is perfect for the job. A little goes a long way. This little tube of oil will likely last years.

This stuff really works great on Old lever lock style German switchblades I haven't used anything better

Bought a 1oz bottle to it try out. Applied two drops down my Microtech Ultratech knife, an otherwise perfectly working knife. After applying the oil, the blade would only release half way out, as if the Quick Release oil were too thick and wouldn't let it come out. I took the knife apart in order to clean the oil. Lost one of the spring bars in the process of assembling the knife back. I'm NOT happy. Dropped the bottle of Quick Release in the waste basket. Worthless. Now I have to send the Ultratech back to the factory. I can't believe it.

I used this product to release stiff blade action on a folding pocket knife. I found this product to be no better than 3-in-1 oil that is readily available at lots of retail outlets and better priced. It was an experiment and I was underwhelmed with the result. Some you win, some you lose.
