Finally a "Tall" that stays tucked! Soft, warm, and perfect for active days
The Fit & Length: As someone who usually struggles with shirts riding up, I am thrilled with the Tall version of this base layer. The length is fantasticโit stays securely tucked in even after a full day of bending, moving, and outdoor activity. Unlike other "tall" brands that just get wider, this one actually provides the vertical coverage needed for a 6ft+ frame. Even after several wash cycles. Comfort & Warmth: Material Quality: The Merino wool is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin. Thereโs zero "itch factor," which can be a concern with wool. It provides a very consistent layer of warmth without making me feel like I'm overheating. The Snug Factor: I will note that the fit is a bit more snug than I usually prefer in a standard shirt. However, for a base layer, this is actually a benefit. It isn't uncomfortably tight, and the close fit is much better for layering and heat retention than something too loose. Final Verdict: 5 Stars. Itโs rare to find a Merino piece that gets the "Tall" sizing right while maintaining this level of comfort. If you need a reliable, stay-put base layer for cold weather, this is the one.

Excellent Merino Layer for Backcountry Use
This is a really high-quality merino wool layer, and I actually like the cut quite a bit too. Itโs fitted and stylish enough that it doesnโt feel like something you can only wear on the trail. Iโve used it on multiple backcountry trips and it has been an awesome piece of gear. It keeps me warm without feeling overly bulky, and one of the big advantages of merino is its natural odor resistance and ability to continue providing insulation even when it gets damp. That makes a big difference when youโre spending long days outside and dealing with changing weather. Overall, this is a great base or mid layer for anyone who spends time in the backcountry, but it would be just as useful for everyday wear in a cold climate. Excellent quality and something Iโm very happy to have in my gear rotation.

Excellent Quality!
This is extra nice. It's very soft and perfect as an under layer. I bought it for my son, but I would like a set for me. I would definately buy this again.

Good product. Good value.
Great wool shirt for wearing up it as a pajama shirt around the house, assuming your house is in the 60s or low 70s. Also good as the top with jeans. Much softer than the smart wool products. We will see how durability is. Update: Have worn this half the nights for th past two months. Very comfortable and warm. Could not be happier. Perfect for sleeping!

Warm and soft with good quality
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of this shirt, especially given that the price is half what the others charge. Material is heavy and soft, with no itching whatsoever. At 5 ft. 7 in. and 145 lbs., I purchased the small as a base layer and it's very snug. I would not want it any smaller. The sleeve openings and neck are on the tight side, which I personally like, and the sleeves are on the verge of being too short...but just barely. I have already washed this turned inside-out in cold water on the gentle cycle and let it air dry. It turned out great. My only issue is that the body length needs at least four more inches. As it is, the shirt reaches my waist band, but just barely. If I didn't want the shirt to be form fitting, I'd go with a size medium.

I love it.
This has become my favorite all around base layer ever. I take it everywhere with me. I'm a slim fit and it fits great. It works as an outer layer too. Has all the quality that merino wool comes with. I'm going to buy another soon.

My New Favorite
I bought this shirt in a men's Large (I am female) because I was hoping for a shirt with more length in the body and sleeves than a traditional women's shirt, and I got exactly what I was hoping for. I have quite a few wool 'base layer' shirts, and this one is as good as any of them. The color ('Sand' - a cafรฉ au lait color with subtle striations) is lovely and very versatile in my wardrobe. I wear this as a lightweight wool sweater (jumper), so for me it is an outer layer and not a base layer. But even though it's lightweight, it's very warm. And because it's 100% merino wool, I know it will be cool in the warmer weather as well. I am going back to see if they have some other colors I might fancy, and if they do, I will be getting another... or two. Some notes on care - I wash my wool sweaters in an impellor* washer, using a mesh laundry bag and cold or cool water, with ordinary laundry detergent. I dry them on a hanger and pop them back into the closet. I have had no problems. At the end of the season, I pack them away flat to allow the wool fibers to rest over the summer. So I think the care is a lot easier than most people imagine. *I mentioned that my washer is an impellor model because I wouldn't try to do this in an agitator washer, but I have never tried it, so perhaps I am being over-cautious.

Wicking and Comfortable! Recommended!
**5 year update - I have used them every winter and on many camping trips and these are still holding up. No pilling, no holes. I wash them in the machine with cold water and I've never put them in the dryer. Easily one of my best Amazon purchases ever.** These are so comfortable and they wick moisture like nothing I've worn. I went from very wet to almost totally dry without changing - it was hard to believe. They're quite warm I wouldn't wear them under joggers for a winter jog, but they were perfect as the only base layer at -1 to -5 Celsius, maybe even a bit colder. They were a tiny bit on the loose side, but I'm sure that'll change with washing. Great product! Highly recommended.

Great quality
Really good quality but obviously fairly expensive. Very warm. Quite heavy for a base layer and the top is longer than expected, but overall a good purchase that should last if looked after.
