I bought the herb-filled version of this first as I liked the novel compact design despite it being made of plastics. That one seemed to function well enough for me to order the spice-filled version.However, the jury is still out on the spice version as the very fine ground spices seem to cling to the acrylic container and it’s tricky trying to pour a spice out. Obviously, you don’t really have the option of taking the lid off and spooning or pouring a spice out. Needless to say I already have concerns about cleaning this jar out.I feel myself gravitating back to a simple glass jar with a screw lid that I can spoon spices from.The other major disappointment with this item, and one that I didn’t expect from this brand is that what they claim to be ‘cinnamon’ is actually cassia. They really need to disclose this both on Amazon and the packaging!
