Hatband Stretcher - Sturdy Built - One Size Fits All

Thank you for a simple product that does what it is designed to do. Put the stretcher in a canvas hat that I have not been able to wear for years. Followed the directions and the hat fits great now. There was a lot of extra room for additional stretching if necessary. Worked great. My hat size falls between 7 3/8 and 7 1/2. This would easily do a size 8 hat. The stretcher is well made and solid. There are no rough edges and the turnbuckle adjusts easily.

This is a well built high quality hat stretcher. Good solid oak wood with large all-thread adjusting bar. The handle/crank works great and really does the job. I purchased a surplus Russian military ushanka (winter hat) that is a very heavy wool and cotton material with a thick quilted band inside. The hat was a 60 cm (7 1/2) and I needed a 62 (7 3/4). The stretcher worked great. This stretcher is strong enough to break a hat so don't over do it. This saved me from having to get a different hat. Also because the hat is also has a Mouton exterior no dry cleaners wanted to touch it. It would have been sent to a specialty leather cleaner that also does hat stretching. I saved the cost of what I would have paid and then some and still have a nice stretcher.

works great. as you probably don't realize that hat have a different oval for the desired fit. some are rounded more and some are more oval. this particular hat stretcher is for the round shape. be nice if you could be more detailed in discription, so a person could purchase the more oval one if desired.

This solves the problem when an extra large hat doesn't fit a 7 5/8 head. If you have ever had a hat that doesn't fit right this is the cure. You can't make small size into large but it can help fit size irregularity. It maybe a little more expensive than others but you get what you pay for. It is made of a good hard wood with good construction. If you fix one or two hats it will pay for itself, it makes me confident to order hats on line.

Reclaim your shrunken hats! Felt and wool hats often shrink over time and this is just dandy for stretching them back out so they don’t squeeze your head. I was going to give this Filson Mackinaw hat away because it was had shrunk. After an overnight stretch session, the fit was comfortable again. Made in USA. Not prime but shipped almost as quickly from Reidsville, NC to Minnesota. Neil Hall Auction Company (manufacturer) will do you right!

I had a Stetson straw Rancher style (size 7 1/4) laying around for years. I put it on recently and it was so tight I couldn't get it all the way on. So I found this product on Amazon and as of April 6, 2016, I can put on my hat just fine. It looks just like the photos and works great. I really like that fact that you can use it on just about any size hat and don't need to order a SM or large according to your hat size. According to the instructions, turn it half way inside your hat if you need to stretch it that way unitl you can use it as intended by putting each block of wood in the front and back portion. Very good product my only advise would be to take it easy and don't try to turn your size 7 hat into an 8 in an instant. Since my hat is straw I took 3 days to slowly stretch it as I didn't know if my hat would tear or not.

Solid product - works very well! I had my favorite Filson hat fitting properly the same day I received the hat stretcher. It's well made - no frills, but absolutely fit for purpose. The thickness of the blocks is perfect to fit a hat band without affecting the body of the hat. I really appreciate a straight forward simple product that delivers good results. This is a perfect example.

Product is excellent. I used on 2 hats one straw paper and one linen. Both worked great. Be careful and take your time on straw paper but great product. Stupid easy and made to last.

Does exactly what it is purposed to do...stretch a hat to size. I have used it to stretch several hats, including one made of leather, and have found that it has consistently stretched to the desired size.

This is a great hat stretcher, heavy duty and deep enough so your hat sits on the stretcher well. The reason for only four stars is delivery was very slow.
