do they use food grade copper in India to make the cups?

The packaging says they are food grade copper, with no lining and no chemicals used to inhibit tarnish. They recommend cleaning with a copper polish whenever tarnish appears but also say if the mugs are thoroughly dried immediately after washing they will tarnish very slowly. I've used mine several times and am thoroughly pleased with them.
