BEST TIRES EVER
I purchased a new F150 4x4 and it came with highway tread Goodyear tires I hated, the kind of tire that leaves you stuck in wet grass. I removed them day 1 and ordered a set of 265/70/17 General Grabber A/TX tires. The difference it made in my truck was amazing, First they look Freaking AWESOME, very close tread pattern to the BFG At TA's but at a much better price, I saved over 70 dollars a tire compared and I don't believe I lost anything, The tread depth is huge, the noise level is super low, no hum or howl like more aggressive tires, but there hasn't been a surface I haven't had excellent traction on. In snow, ice, dirt, mud, frozen bridges I never have to worry about if ill make it I always go right through. We had over a foot of snow and the plows had not even started yet but I went to town on roads that were 2 foot drifts between fields and I never even put the truck in 4x4. Now I have fairly skinny by todays standards 265/70/17 tires which skinny is generally better in snow, but the truck never lost traction and never veered off course. I LOVE MY GENERAL GRABBER A/TX TIRES AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

Excellent tires and I would buy again 2000 Honda CR-V
We're very happy with these and they provide a great value and appearance. They balanced smoothly with no vibration and had great grip. These were used as an upsize on our 2000 Honda CR-V and they fit well with no rubbing and looked great! You can see the finished install at our website Kauffmans Garage.

Theyโre alright but with some downsides
Alright so the tireโs performance is good, theyโre not loud and track down the road nice. They also do very well in the snow for getting traction in a 2wd truck, Iโve never gotten stuck even in 6-8 inches of powdery snow. The down sidesโฆ Sidewall on the raise white letter side has this gross ring that goes around on tire, it looks terrible and no matter what product, power washer, or brush you use it wonโt make any difference, nor does tire shine do anything to hide it. I noticed this about 6 months after I installed the tires. Another down side is the flat spot pretty easy if you donโt drive within every 3 days or so. In closing they preform as advertised and have gotten me through rough weather, if I were to buy again Iโd be more inclined to go with another brand.

Great on and off road tires with think sidewall treads for rocky trails...
Awesome...quiet...EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING ON A 4VRUNNER... Aggressive tread pattern...thick heavy sidewalls look like they can stand up to sharp rocks so common in Utah and Arizona deserts where we Overland... With regular tires we kept getting sidewall punctures from these sharp edged little rocks that litetally stick up in the dirt roads like little knives. I call one road Razor Blade Row. They are not long enough to cut through thick tread but they will slice a thin side wall in no time. We had one of these rocks cut a brand new set if Goodyear tires and they could not repair because cut was in sidewall. So the heavy sidewall tread pattern is specifically what made us choose these G Grabbers. No noise or vibration on highway even at 75 MPH which is legal by the way on many roads out west. These are some of the best tires we have had so far.

Best bang for the buck !!
The tires are great compared to what I had before. They are tad bit louder than the old Street tyres but it's an all terrain tyres so it's normal. I bought a set of 225/75/16 to put on my slightly lifted 5speed AWD Rav4 and it looks sweet. It rides so much smoother and actually gave me an extra 1inch lift. The white letters are a plus and looks so retro. My wife's 4wd Taco has the bfg ko2's and I so far like the grabbers more due to how big the difference was in pricing. Both the bfg and grabbers perform almost the same. The bfgs are however a heavier and tougher tyre but these grabbers are just great. I'll update in the next couple of thousand miles, I hope these would hold up to the roads that I travel.

Very impressed with these tires
These were installed just yesterday on my Jeep and driving back from the tire shop I was immediately impressed with the quiet and very comfortable ride on the road. I thought the shop might have under inflated them but upon measuring they were all at 38psi, even higher than I usually run on the street. The tread compound is very soft but from what Iโve read is also very durable. This is a great looking tire, even better than the BFG KO2 in my opinion. I like the true sizing: a 30x9.5 is 30โ and a 31x10.5 is 31โ, not slightly smaller as with many other vendors. Off road use so far has been only light gravel roads but they are very comfortable there as well and I have no reason to believe they will under perform my previous BFG KO2. The soft tread compound feels like it will provide excellent grip on rocks. After over 20 years running BFG Iโm very happy to have tried General and these Grabber ATX in particular.
