I've been using the app for the MI Boxer controller and have it linked to Alexa. Works great except when it can't connect to remote server. This has happened too many times, so I got this remote so I don't have to rely on a remote connection. The remote works great. It's high quality and the touch controls are super sensitive. The only problem I had was with the linking. The instructions on the listing and the MI LIght web site say to power the light off, wait, power on and then press the I button on any zone within 3 seconds. This did not work, period. I found a YouTube video that said the button must be pressed within one second. Bingo. That's all it takes. Like so many of these imported items, the worst feature is bad instructions.

Great remote and system to control your led lighting system.

This operates exactly as expected, and I've never had any issues with it. The color wheel is accurate and the remote is very responsive. None of the buttons have any real tactile click or movement to them, if that matters to you.

It's really a great remote, I use it to control my kitchen cabinet lights and everything works fine. The one thing I do not like is how super sensitive it is (I took 1 star off because of this). I have to handle it gently when I turn lights on or off otherwise I will change the preset settings. I finally opted to just link the lights via my "TUYA" app which I control through my phone or through my Alexa device, to avoid accidentally touching and changing the settings.

This is the third one of these I’ve purchased. These work great. I love that I don’t have to point to an exposed ir receiver.
