Great Starter Pen
I have long wanted a fountain pen, but my handwriting is so poor I have hesitated to spend $200 or more on a pen. I saw this pen and decided to try it. Iโm glad I did. Itโs a great looking pen. It writes very well, even for my clumsy cursive. Itโs a good fit for my hand and the nib really glides over paper. The pen does use a lot of plastic where an expensive pen would use metal. Because of the plastic construction, this pen could develop cracks or even break if not used with care. This is most likely to happen when inserting a new refil. It takes force and could easily crack the plastic. I have solved this by using the awl on my Swiss Army Knife to puncture the seal of the refill. This makes it much easier to insert. An ice pick or similar instrument would work. If you are looking for an entry level fountain pen, this one is hard to beat.

Where Elegant meets Professionalism
The pen quality is so good and fit well with your grade, durable and the comfort you feel while writing, you do not feel the weight in your hand. Some of my colleagues ask me why I chose the Fountain Pen instead of the ballpen

7/10 good pen
pros: i have to warn my coworkers every day to not steal my pen. itโs a fantastic conversation starter. itโs gorgeous. cons: the nib writes with a 0.7 mm line, does not split with pressure for calligraphy. when i use it very often, the base can come unscrewed and the pen becomes loose. the cap does not stay very well on the back of the pen. adding an ink cartridge might require more force than very arthritic hands can manage. the ink washes out with a water spill, so donโt drop your documents/sketchbook/notes or let it get rained on. pros: very good flow from the nib, but not overly so. ive had it for a month and a half and it hasnโt ink-stained anything. it rescrews easily when it becomes loose from overuse (see above) and is only noteworthy if gone unnoticed for too long, as then the whole thing will fall apart. itโs happened twice to the extent that i was confused why the nib kept turning when i tried to write, an easy fix. apparently can work with an adapter for other ink cartridges if you want to change the ink to a different brand or color. i love the arrow styling of the clip on the cap. itโs a gorgeous pen for a newbie to quill-tip fountain pens, fancy enough for a nice gift without being overly expensive or overly complicated. great for an icebreaker at work, school, or on the go; see a cutie? whip this bad boy out and write up a grocery list on a napkin, bada bing bada boom, now youโre talking and youโve got a grocery list. add a malbec to it, you might try it later with the cutie over dinner.

Really impress with this pen!
This is a great pen. It writes so smoothly and uses Parker's Quink cartridge. It's got good heft that's not too heavy or light and the right size for writing. It's only $30 but writes like one many times the price.

Glad I bought it.
"Elegant gift box" is a stretch and a half, but I like the pen. For the price, it's excellent. I have a couple lower end Waterman fountain pens that I like, and a Parker Sonnet I've had for several years. This one writes more smoothly than either Waterman, but nowhere near the Sonnet. I actually prefer the stiffer, steel nib on this pen. This one comes with a great price, so I won't worry about losing it at work. This will be my go-to pen for daily use.

Good everyday carry pen.
Smooth writing pen feels great in the hand and will write for quite a while before needing a refill!

Looks nice, build quality is below what I expected for a Parker Pen
In the beginning I really enjoyed the pen, the nib puts down a little more ink on regular paper than others, but since I mainly use it on heavy stock cards or paper it does great for me. Unfortunately there have been two issues that have caused me to stop using the pen. First the nib base does not seal well with the ink reservoir, it does not matter whether I use a disposable or the refill there is not a good seal so it leaks into the pen body which makes a mess when you open it. Second, as you can see from the picture the clasp has continued to loosen and will no longer hold to anything. No, it was not stretched out from clipping to a thick pocket or too many pages, it has just continued to loosen as time went on where it attaches to the top cap. This has not been a problem with my other Parker pens or fountain pens I have from other companies. The clasp "is what it is" and I could look past that... I really liked the pen but the ink leaking out and staining my hands, shirt etc is the reason this pen will go in a drawer or most likely the trash. I may just have a fluke pen, but I don't want to buy another only to eventually have it do the same thing again.

It works as described. Just note that the converter is not included.
Note: it does not come with the converter, which needs to be purchased separately at about 30 dollars. DO check online if you donโt know what a fountain converter is. Other than that, everything is fine.
