This is a great desktop tripod - it's hard to imagine what would improve it. I also like that the legs are quite wide (relative to the overall device size) - this has allowed me to use it in soft-packed snow, to good effect. It's ideally sized for a smartphone or webcam, but you could definitely use it for smaller mirrorless or small DSLRs also. The mount is adjusted by depressing a friction button, and when the head is locked, there's no movement I can detect. One feature I particularly like is how it becomes a very ergonomic grip when you fold the legs together. A great purchase to improve your smartphone photography, or a good gift for a friend / colleague / relative that struggles to keep their phone stable during video calls! I bought one for my parents after buying my own.

This is my biggest gripe with this little guy! - Once you press the red button to adjust tilt, there's no way to bring it back to level! ⚠️⚠️The easiest way to mitigate that is once you've unboxed yours, get a sharpie to outline the circle where it's level so you can reset back to it 🤓 My Final Thoughts 🧐 1️⃣ If you're looking for a simple, functional, and reliable mini tripod, look no further! This is it! 2️⃣ However, if you can invest a little more, I'd go with the Manfrotto PIXI EVO. It's just as compact but has extendable legs and comes with a thumb screw! Holds an FX30 It's good

I bought this tripod mainly for my Go Pro Hero 11 Black. But I do want to point out that you need an adapter to be able to mount the action camera to this tripod. The style that I purchased was “PIXI Mini Made in Italy,” which I think is the newer model. I’d say I am satisfied with this product. It is built strong and feels durable when you hold it. The legs are wide enough to support an entry-level DSLR camera and keep it standing securely, but also not wide enough to take up space. The underpinning of the legs is also partially rubberized which further helps with stability. However, if you mount a stick or monopod between the tripod and a camera, it will only be able to support a small and lightweight camera, like a point-and-shoot or an action camera. I like that it is heavy for its small size which speaks to its sturdiness and stability. I can use it as a handle too for filming. Additionally, I like the ball head mount type. I prefer this over pan and tilt for a tripod or stick as it allows a faster way to adjust the orientation of the camera while also giving you more flexibility to level against uneven surfaces. On this note, the feature that stands out to me the most is the way the ball head is controlled or adjusted. You basically press and hold the red button as you adjust the ball head and then release the red button to lock the ball head. Honestly, I like this approach better than a screw. I have easier, safer, and better control with this technique. Best of all, this tripod is travel-friendly and fits comfortably on a camera backpack. Over-all, I highly recommend this product!

Three requirements. All met. We're done here. Except we're not, because the build quality deserves a mention. As soon as you take it out of the box it feels like quality — which sounds obvious for Manfrotto but isn't guaranteed at this price point. The push-button ball head is smooth, locks firmly, and critically doesn't flop about when you've got something heavier mounted on it. The rubber feet grip surfaces properly. The legs fold together into a genuinely comfortable handgrip. It's compact enough to slip into a coat pocket and solid enough that you don't spend your time worrying about your camera toppling onto a restaurant table in Sorrento. Hypothetically. One genuine caveat worth knowing: if you're planning to use it with a long heavy lens, think again. It's a mini tripod, not a miracle. Keep it sensible and it's rock solid. Push it beyond its limits and physics wins. You'll need a separate phone mount — the Manfrotto branded one is overpriced for what it is and a decent alternative on Amazon costs a fraction.
