Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S7 Book Cover Keyboard Slim, Tablet Screen Protector, Lightweight, Mobile Workstation, US Version, Mystic Black

This is a fantastic tablet. The value proposition of this tablet is due to the roof. The audio from this tablet is superb. The Dex mode is quite amazing. The battery life is above average. The included pen is amazing too. It is snappy and responsive. I would recommend this laptop to anyone. As a bonus it is the same size and shape as the previous model so you have a many options for attachments and cases.

I love the fact that the keyboard is perfect. For those of us who use all of our fingers and type really fast, this keyboard is spot on perfect. The pen works great also. However, it does fall off the back quite a bit more than i like. This cover in no way protects your tablet though. If it were to drop, I would be heartbroken. I do wish maybe that it had some bumpers on the corners to protect it more.

I love this tablet case!

While this is a good case, there are some downsides that I think could make it better; 1. The only long term storage for your s-pen in a place the tablet asks if you have your pen. There is conveniently no case covering the backside where the pen should be, but it's not stable as a permanent location. It would be idea if the case location could be "found" and also charge the pen too. 2. There is no side protection with this case; If you drop it you're going to land directly on the tablet side. 3. This keyboard doesn't work really great in Dex, imo. The best experience is with the old Dex interface because it takes up way less screen real estate, but the keyboard shortcuts don't really help you navigate that experience; It's good to know a bluetooth mouse is a good purchase to go along with this if you plan on use it that way. 4. The keys are not very stable and there's a significant amount of space around the keys. Don't eat around, have pets, etc around this since cruft will definitely accumulate. I haven't found a cover yet, but a nice silicone slip over would be great! This really does fit the bill as a decent case though. Along with Samsungs keyboard sharing you can use it as an input device for something else too. Unfortunately you can't copy-paste between them. If you're looking for a solid keyboard, albeit with some minor flaws, this is your go to keyboard for the Tab S8 IMO (what I'm using).

I currently have the s8 with this one. I have the case with the track pad but prefer this one more. Reasons are the ability to type in your lap is far easier with this one, a better firm typing experience and I don't find I use the track pad much on the smaller screen. I have an s8 ultra and due to the screen size on that one, the track pad is used more often. I also like how it holds the s pen within the Case quite well and when I only want to use it by holding it vertically similar to holding a book, it is a much more comfortable option. If you have big hands like I do it is a tight keyboard and take a bit of time to get used to it, but I have been able to write long emails and been OK and I'm a touch typist. I have always wished it had a back light option, since in the dark it can be difficult to see numbers and the top row. I recommend it overall.

The magnets are strong so your tablet won't go anywhere unless you make it. The quality is ok I just wish it had Backlit keys. That's my only complaint and it arrived with us keys on keyboard.

This tablet has all the horsepower to even replace the desktop. I use it when I have meetings at the local coffee shop. Battery is long lasting, Screen is great. I have a samsung keyboard case and run Samsung dex when using the keyboard. I believe updates are for at least 4 years.

bought the s8 tab at Christmas, and spent a lot of time researching the model vs. some newer products from Samsung and competitors. I was really blown away by the performance and features of the S8. I have had a lot of tablets, and this if by far the best I have used. The Tab S8 was the 2022 top-of-line model, and after using it and comparing the added features of the Tab S9, I think the significant price difference is worth saving some money.
