Retrospec Alameda Skateboard Complete | Canadian Maple Wood Deck w/ 5.5 Inch Aluminum Alloy Trucks for Commuting, Cruising, Carving & Downhill Riding

This was my first skateboard and I’ve had it for about 3 years now, so I can give a real long-term review. I didn’t just use it occasionally, I actually used it almost every day as my transportation to school, riding around 2 miles daily. Even after all that use, the skateboard has held up incredibly well. The bearings still work smoothly, and the design/paint still looks almost like when I first got it. It has taken a lot of hits and impacts over time, but it never broke, which really shows the quality of the material. I mainly used it for transportation, but sometimes I also practiced tricks. My friends, who have a lot more experience with skating, would use my board too and do tricks like ollies and kickflips, and the skateboard never failed. Even they told me that I made a really good purchase, especially for the price. One of the things I loved the most was the wooden design. That’s actually what caught my attention and made me want to buy it in the first place. Overall, this is a very, very good skateboard and honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made. If you’re looking for a durable and reliable board, especially as a beginner, I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this skateboard for my teenager and he is happy with it. It looks just like the advertised pictures. It seems sturdy and it rolls easily. We haven’t encountered any issues with it and it seems to be a good skateboard for a beginner.

It is a great board I am 11 and I love it I just got it today and it has a good design and it’s rolls good and it. It’s better than any skateboard I’ve ever had.

We bought the Retrospec Alameda as a first skateboard for my son, and it has exceeded expectations for an entry-level board. The size and deck feel made it a great tool for learning the basics of balance, pushing, and turning. My son rode this consistently for about five months before we decided to upgrade. It definitely showed some expected wear and tear, specifically with the grip tape lifting around the edges. The stock wheels and bearings are fine for learning on smooth driveways and sidewalks, but they definitely have their limits. When my son finally transitioned to a higher-end setup, the first thing he pointed out was how much smoother and faster the new board was. I wouldn't recommend this for an experienced or intermediate skater, but as a genuine starter board, it holds up nicely and delivers great value.

Gonna be honest, I completely changed the design on the bottom didn’t really like the way it looked. However, it has done really well. No cracked very durable and have gone down some pretty rocky roads. My little cousin likes doing tricks with surprise. He hasn’t broken it yet. It’s a great. I’ve had it for almost a year and a half now.

My 8 year old wanted to learn how to skateboard. So she got this skateboard. Two years later, my 10 year old earned the nickname "Ollie" This board is great, we've had no issues with it.

Got this as a cheep board to see if I would like skating and it worked great for that. If your looking for a board to continuously ride i would probably get a nicer one bt this gets the job done and works great! Good for beginners, rides well. Etc.
