Solved my issue
After having my water softener for 8 years, it developed a leak. I found this part number in the back of the book, bought it and did the install my self. Very easy just unscrew the old and screw in the new. Leak stopped and the system is back to normal.

Perfect Fit; Saved me Money...
Perfect fit. Water Softener went bad and started spraying water all over. Some would have bought a new one, however, with a bit of trouble shooting it was obviously just the Bypass Valve. Ordered this valve based upon the image largely. Installed the unit and turned the house water back on. Perfect fit. Far better than the stock unit for my Glacier Bay unit.

Sometimes it’s just worth spending a little bit of money to save yourself time
I was on a job when I noticed a leak in the customers soft water system, and there was nowhere to get the proper washers. They were thick rubber. So I had to order a brand new unit and it came with the washers. It was perfect. It fit exactly the way it’s supposed to and it’s sealed..

Perfect replacement
Exactly the replacement part for my water softener. I only give it 4 stars because it comes with only two rubber gaskets. There are four gaskets needed and I couldn't find the other two in any hardware store around. I used two of the old gaskets, but would have felt better to be able to have all four new, since I was replacing the whole part.
