I bought this pen for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It feels very solid and well made, with a premium look and a nice weight in the hand that makes it feel more special than a basic pen. The bolt action design is smooth and satisfying to use, and the fine tip writes cleanly and consistently. It has a professional feel while still being practical for everyday use. A really nice pen if you want something durable, stylish, and gift-worthy.

I splurged on this pen when I started a new job this year, and while it’s definitely on the pricier side, the craftsmanship is excellent. It feels extremely well made and solid in hand, and the design is genuinely beautiful. The bolt-action mechanism is a really nice touch — smooth, satisfying, and a small detail that makes it stand out from standard pens. That said, it’s heavier than I expected. It has a substantial feel, which adds to the premium vibe, but it’s not something I’d want to use for long writing sessions. For signing documents or shorter note-taking sessions, though, it’s perfect. Overall, a high-quality pen that feels special — just know it’s more of a statement piece than an all-day writer.

Ordered the pen for my daughter. I own an identical one. Great pen. Very well balanced. Great construction. Very comfortable. It’s not as light as traditional ink pens, but we like the heavier feel. It writes really well, too.

Got this today, and immediately unboxed it. It's the green aluminum model. Black ink. I've already ordered some Bastion blue ink refills. Why? Because I intend on keeping this pen. I haven't bought a 'proper' pen for more than 50 years. Now, I've decided to treat myself- at almost 74 years old. Most of my life, it's been Bic and other pens, Pilot's and other brand dollar store grade stuff. The pen writes very nicely and it's substantial thickness fits my large hand perfectly. I really do not write for long periods, so it should be comfortable. The machining on this pen is just super high quality with tight tolerances. The bolt-action mechanism is super cool, although it may take some getting used to as it, and the strong shirt pocket clip do get noticed when it's in your hand. Overall, a really cool, beautiful looking pen for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I like the pen a lot. In a military environment, it has held up decently well, other than what I mention in this review. The color of the metal has somewhat faded over time due to it's daily usage, but the carbon fiber has only sustained one scratch. the carbon fiber section seems to be fairly good material and is sturdy. When I use it, it gets a lot of comments, especially when others borrow it. I use it on a daily basis, as my primary writing utensil. It's been dropped a couple times and the tip of the housing itself could be a bit more resistant to bending. I've had to straighten out the opening where the ink stick actually comes through a couple times due to the tip deforming, not allowing the ink stick to pass through. If you use the pocket clip, the screws holding the clip itself will loosen up fairly quickly. I wish the clip was recessed into the pen body and had a better attachment method so it couldn't rotate around with the oversized screw holes. This would prevent the screws from loosening and falling out, which has happened to me a few times in the last couple weeks. Luckily, each time has been while it's in my pocked, so the one remaining screw fell into my pocket and I was able to put it back in. Another thing, If you drop this pen, and the ball point tip becomes damaged, a good replacement is the "Schmidt easyFLOW 9000" as it's virtually identical to the original ink stick. These replacement ink sticks write very well on both skin and paper compared to other pens. These ink sticks write a bit darker and look more professional compared to your run of the mill cheap pens, and I really like them.

What a fantastic pen. I love heavy pens because I tend to grip them very hard and the extra weight allows my hand to relax while writing. This thing may as well be a baseball bat and I LOVE it. This is a no joke EDC pen as well with its weight and stainless steel body. It is heavy in hand, but that weight leans back balancing the pen beautifully allowing far smoother lines. My handwriting has even cleaned up some. The mechanism is great as well. Very strong spring, crisp action and a not difficult or strange to use. Feels very natural. The seamless design looks beautiful, my only slight tick is that is was coming loose occasionally. I added tiny drop of thread lock and solved that problem without making it too hard to open again. The clip is HEAVY not easy to bend and secured with 2 Torx screws. (Also needed a little thread lock, common with metal on metal) The ink cartridge is okay, I didn't really expect much. It cuts out randomly fairly often, sputters and jumps a bit too but I expected to need to order some new ones. Not sure on the storage capacity, but it does seem to burn ink pretty fast. Overall I am in love with this pen and will be buying another one as a spare.
