I installed the 1Kw rear motor version ony recumbent bike. I had to extend some wires, design and 3d print some items to make it all work. I get 15, 20 and 25 mph out of a 48v, 20Ah battery with a range of over 60 miles on level 1 assist. I have over 900 miles on it and am very happy with this system. If you get a clunking noise while pedaling, take the freewheel apart and service it. Mine had zero grease in it from the factory. It only took 30 minutes to clean and lube it. After riding 2400+ miles, I broke a spoke. That is fantastic considering that I weigh 230lbs and sit right over the rear tire. Replacement spoke size: 12ga x 72mm. No other issues. This is a great value.

I like the wheel. It has plenty of power and is fast. I had to do some modifications to the trike to get everything working, such as adding wire to the pedal sensor so that it would reach the computer box. Also the pedal sensor brakes was of no use on this type of crank housing therfore I had to get creative with mounting the sensor. I'm still not sure how the sensor works because the instruction manual is not helpful at all. Something else to note, read all the instructions product details before your purchase. I didn't, therfore I didn't realize it didn't come with a battery. After purchasing a battery, I realized I could have purchased a more reputable product for a few bucks more. The LED screen is very basic and does the job. It is highly recommended that you purchase a torque kit as the wheel does not come with one. All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase so far. We'll see how it holds up. Pertaining to a trike install, if you are not comfortable with modifying by drilling, soldering, and making adjustments, this is not a do it yourself project.

It was easy to install and works great. I put the battery(10ah bought separately) and controller in a bag on a rear rack. Top speed is around 23mph fast enough. It has a lot of power, I usually just leave it in lowest pedal assist setting

Easy to assemble and great quality so far. Now at 85 I can enjoy my trike even more. Push a little lever and up the hill I go.

Not very quiet as far as motors go and has a very grindy sound when engaged. But it works great and was really easy to install s o I can't complain too much.

I love the power and ease of installation, it's a great kit for the money.
