I’ve been washing my baseball caps by hand for years and they always ended up a little warped or just not looking right. I grabbed this BallcapBuddy on a whim and it’s a total game changer. Just pop your hat in, snap it shut, and throw it in the washing machine (top loader). My hats come out clean, shaped perfectly, and the brim stays nice and curved like new.I’ve already washed like 6 different caps (fitted and snapback) and it works great every time. The plastic feels strong and the latch is easy to use. I even tossed it in the dishwasher on the top rack once to test it and it cleaned up with no problem.No more hand washing or ruined hats. My favorite caps actually look brand new again. Super simple tool but it does exactly what it says.If you have a bunch of hats that need regular cleaning, just get this. Worth every penny.5 stars. Product Review: BallcapBuddy, The Original Cap Washer I purchased this hat mold to safely wash my dirty hats without distorting the original shape. Although I have used it on all five of my hats with great outcomes, the directions could be more specific. Who is this product for? The BallcapBuddy is a great purchase for anyone that is skeptical about washing their favorite hat because of the risk of the original shape being lost. This product can also be used to simply clean hats that are covered in dirt, sweat or whatever else may be taking the original color from your hat. Simply place the BallcapBuddy in a dishwasher with your dishes, or in a washer with light clothes and your hat is as good as new. Evaluation Criteria I made the purchase and wrote this Amazon review based on the following criteria: 1. Cost. Because the product is completely plastic and I have never bought something that I could compare it to, I was not going to spend more than 10 dollars. 2. Easy to Use. I wanted something that didn’t take a lot of time out of my day and wasn’t difficult to use. 3. Life Expectancy. Since I wear a hat almost every day, I wanted something that was going to last a long time so I wouldn’t have to waste money on new hats. I have only used it five times, so I will update the review after a couple more cycles of washing. Overall Assessment For the most part I am very pleased with my purchase of the BallcapBuddy. I was hesitant with the first use due to the instructions not being completely specific on whether or not leaving the hat in the dry cycle of the dishwasher would damage the hat. The instructions say to wash on a normal or light cycle and to leave the hat in the BallcapBuddy to dry but do not specify whether or not to let the hat air dry or let the dishwasher do the job. Because of this I decided to let the dishwasher dry the hat with an older hat so I would not be heartbroken if it was damaged. Luckily the hat came out unaffected. Also, the directions state specifically not to use lemon detergent which meant I had to purchase separate detergent to wash my hats. In conclusion, if you are a busy person like me and don’t have time to hand wash your caps, I fully recommend the BallcapBuddy.

My husband and I have actually purchased these a number of times, as gifts. They are so easy to use, they are functional and keep the shape and fit of your hats just the way you like. It’s so easy to just run them through the dishwasher! They come out soft, not stiff. And the 3 pack is a great value for the money! I am pleased with this purchase & would recommend.

Hat holders work well in dishwasher but they are very cheaply made, really can't recommend.

I've used it twice now in our dishwasher (we have a front-load washer). Seemed crazy to do that, but what the hey. I did it with dishes too. Didn't seem to cause any issues with the hat in terms of discoloration--I'm sure could vary with different hat materials and detergents. Did a good job cleaning the hats on the top shelf. As the headline suggests, it's not the most sturdy rig and see why they suggest using it in a dishwasher. Comes apart pretty easily. The latching mechanism isn't the greatest and might take a little finagling to get use to it. For being made in the US, the price is OK, but if it was made in China, that's a big no. Honestly though, if you'd be putting it in the dishwasher, I don't see a huge advantage to using it. I thought I might use it in the washing machine even though they recommend not doing that for a front load, but I wouldn't give it long before it might break. Probably wouldn't but another if it does break and just toss hats in the dishwasher on the top rack.

Muy útil para la limpieza de las gorras, me ha servido ya que era muy difícil lavarlas antes. Así se cuidan y no se maltratan.

Es perfecto para lavar cualquier tipo de gorra🧢 Recomiendo dejarlas secar con la arandela puesta para que la gorra conserve su forma :)
