Best shitake snack I ever had. Crunchy and naturally umami :)

My excitement knew no bounds after watching an old episode of Dragons Den. Could this be my saviour, turning away from conventional crisps and snacks in an endevour to prolong my life and retain my youthfulness ? Such is my love of mushrooms even after watching The Last of Us, and believing that we were all doomed to become a form of cordyceps fungus ( rather than being abducted by aliens) I kept the faith and pursued the Grail.The first bite was crunchy, the initial taste less so. After meaningfully selecting ( those that looked the most attractive in my mind ) and slowly savouring 3 or 4, I could taste the shrooms and a sweetness that I did not expect... nor particularly liked .......I blinked, I breathed , and they all disappeared within 5 minutes, and I can only assume that a Fairy was afoot. This was not the first time I might add that food could vanish in my abode in a short space of time .Maltose is an ingredient in this product which is not Kool, however if you are fit and healthythen it will be totally fine in moderation :)Initial shroom taste and sugar rush which your your brain will enjoy, but not a long term investment for wellbeing :)

Although the bags are only 40g, the mushrooms are far more substantial than crisps and I found the indication on the pack that it contained 2 portions was correct, for me. Very very tasty, very very crisp, a very very satisfying snack. Pricey on their own, but fine as a bundle.

Not a bad snack product. bit too expensive for a regular purchase but the main issue….MALTOSE (sugar) added. Why? And why so much. This is so sweet my kids ate them as a treat (after dinner) and only a few due to the high sugar content.Why not use allulose, xylitol or erythritol. Diabetics could also enjoy them too!!

Just for clarity: I hate mushrooms. But I LOVE these. Great snacks that arent too filling. But they are so more-ish. Once you pop, you can't stop. Highly recommend.

Read the ingredients, vegan maltose is sugar! There are 4 tea spoons of sugar per 100 grams. I was disappointed it’s sweet, I was hoping for a savoury snack! This was advertised on dragons den as a healthy alternative to crisps - it is not! Tried to return it, but you can’t return food on Amazon it turns out.

This mushroom snack is just wonderful. I love mushrooms. Tastes so great and so unique. It’s very crunchy. Honestly, it became an addiction for me. Love it love it love it!
