Bodhran Economy Case, 16" x 4.5" - Roosebeck

I purchased this Bodhran Economy Case to protect and carry my 3.5" x 16" Remo Buffalo Drum. It fits perfectly. Nice for carrying my drum from place to place with me. It keeps it from getting scuffed up, dirty, or rained on (I'm in Oregon). It has a pocket on the front for carrying the beater but is sized for a Bodhran Drum beater. Not a Buffalo Drum beater. And I'm going to bet that's because it is a Bodhran case. I just toss the beater in the case with the drum. The fact that the case fits the drum is what I was looking for.

For the money, it is a decent bag. The material is thicker than I expected, so while it is not padded, it should protect against minor mishaps and moisture. I have not received my drum yet, so I can't attest to the fit - I bought it to carry a buffalo drum. My only complaint about it, is the zipper and zipper pull. I am wondering how long the zipper will last. The pull could be larger and sturdier.

This fits my drum perfectly. The beater my drum came with doesn't fit in the pouch all the way, but I'll make due. This is perfect for storing and traveling. Good quality! Wish it had 2 zippers though.

Perfect case for the money. Grated it is thin and not padded however the somewhat waterproof material will at least avoid minor splashes or quick misting and the exterior pouch is perfect for storing gear securely and away from the drum. Check measurements and otherwise full steam ahead if this fits your needs and budget.

This case does it's intended job of protecting the drum and is easy to carry. Has a nice outer pocket to hold the tipper and running key plus something like a small note pad and pen. Cannot comment too much on the sturdiness or how it will last. 4 stars for sturdiness is because the material and zipper seems a bit light weight and it is too be seen how the bag holds up

I did not really know what to expect. For the price, I was expecting at least a little padding but there is none whatsoever. Since I am not using it for any heavy duty transport, I guess it will work but it is nothing special. It is definitely economy and the stitching is a little funky. It's basically a tote bag, you know one of those cheap nylon bags did you get at the grocery store or department store , But it is sized to fit a 16 inch frame drum. I'm just using it to protect the drum from little fingers. Not much, it is basically a tote bag for your drum.

I bought this case for my new 16" Remo Buffalo Drum. It fits perfectly. The material seems a little lightweight but i think it will be ok. It IS an "Economy" case after all. It does it's job of protecting the drum from minor damage. I would like to see it having stronger duel zippers, it only has a single (also lightweight) zipper. Pouch on front is a good size.

Bought this item to protect the buffalo drum I previously purchased. It came quickly, fit perfectly and appears to be well made and of good quality for a decent price.
