Debowler Ashtray (Amber)

Works just as it should. Now maybe you're seeing the top review about some idiot who didn't use it as the name says. It's meant to clear your bowl, not ash from a cigarette. If people would actually use it for the real intended purpose, it works handsomely, and I've wowed many friends with this handy invention. Look at the included picture and you'll see a warning that says don't leave hot ash in there. Don't be stupid kids

I bought one of these a few months back, and was quite satisfied so since then I've bought half a dozen more, some for me some as gifts.It's super convenient for unclogging pipes, one simple tap on the spike and you're back in business.The one thing I would watch out with is that it's certainly not kid-safe. It's not particularly sharp, but certainly it's not out of the question that somebody could get hurt.

This is the third one I have purchased (two for gifts!). Quality product and material, works wonders for its purpose. Lasts a long time, the only thing that isn't intuitive is to use 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol to remove build up.

It is very convenient to have. Would've gotten black had it been in stock but this off white isn't bad. Recently I've been not pulling the herb through the downstem and using this right after and it's helping keep my smoking lamp much cleaner. Buddy of mine has an older version with a skinnier metal poker that seems sturdier overall, but as long as you aren't beating on it, it should be fine.

Plastic will burn through if don’t put out your hot Amber it was burning hole in my dresser where sitting. Never seen that before with plastic ashtrays I have a 1980s Marboro man they’ve never been through. That must be wrong with your plastic compound need to revisit it.

Once ashtray is more then a quarter full the smallest amber ash can ignite the ashtray I didn't believe the review when i read another guy warm me about the ashtray fires I just blew it off, now I almost caught my computer table on fire.

Absolutely horrible. Cheaply made and a piece of paper is less flammable than this.. I don’t think that an “ash” tray could get any worse. Do not buy and if you do keep the fire department on speed dial... and the “debowler” emblem is just a cheap sticker on the side. Not a huge deal but just adds to the crappiness.

I’ve been using these for years and have had all the different colors. They are great for their purpose but must be cleaned often to keep the poker sharp (if it isn’t sharp enough, you’ll have to use toothpicks, which defeats the purpose of getting the de bowler)

Let me start by saying, I do love this product and it breaks my heart to leave this review but PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS. I've been using it daily for 3 months and it works great for ashing bowls. Very handy. I did not have a single complaint about it until last night...I finished my bed time sesh and ashed the bowl in the debowler. I am generally very cautious to make sure the bowl is entirely burnt out before ashing it in the debowler. I must have been too hasty and there must have been an ember still burning when I ashed this bowl. I went and brushed my teeth, and when I passed through my living room on my way to my bedroom, I noticed flames and smoke billowing from the debowler.The prong that sticks up in the centre of the debowler had caught fire at the base and the fire was growing by the second. I am so grateful that I walked by before this had gotten out of control. If this had gone unnoticed, I can say with absolute certainty that my home would have caught fire.I do not blame the product entirely as there is even a label when you purchase it instructing you not to place burning material in the ash tray.Please do not make the same mistake I made, you might not be so lucky.

Great product! as it is yellow it does get dirty fast compared to the black one but w.e we never lose it this way since it is yellow

Liked it. Something fell on it & it broke easily.

Works perfect to ash your bowl.
