Ignore the negative reviews about these they work as intended with a compatible slide hammer. The only concern I had with this tool was that the pins that hold the rocker in place that pulls the bearing are not seated properly or at least on the set I received were not. I was able to pull both rear axle bearing out. However upon removing the second bearing from the tool the pin on the rocker had partially popped out. I fixed this by using a flat punch and hammer to make sure it was back in place properly. Also make sure you have a compatible slide hammer. I assume I’m not the only one who has experienced quality control issues with this product overall happy with my purchase.

fantastic kit if you already have a slide hammer. used the kit to pull and replace 67-72 c10 12bolt axle bearings. easily slipped in and pulled out the first side in a minute or so. second side was siezed from rust more, and took 20 slide-hits, but made it no issues. 10/10. solid build, no wear and tear on the first pulls, not worried about bending like some cheaper steel out there.

Put up with 5lb slider hammer and some hard to remove bearings. Bearings wouldn't budge before I tried this. Worth every penny. Be sure to snug the bolt down, give it a wiggle and check it is still snug. Easy to use. Quality is par at least for the home mechanic. I wouldn't do another axle bearing without this. Made the job much easier. Worked good for me, and reduced my effort. Still I would use a good slide hammer with a decent weight slide. 2014 Ford Raptor axle bearings with 100k miles of rough terrain for reference. Before the tool, tried old fashioned triple claw with no progress. After this tool, the job is done. The example above is so you know it wasn't an average job. You may sweat a little, but it will still be less than without the tool. Glad I have this set in my toolbox.
