Great case, fits perfectly , I needed a simple hard shell case for my MacBook & this is exactly what I got. Smooth feel, I got clear and it’s crystal clear, looks shiny, have not tried to remove it yet but it was easy to put on. The keypad cover is a little weird and can’t get it to perfectly fit on the keys, could just be me but doesn’t line up with the wording on the keys, Not a huge deal cause I didn’t need a key cover anyways .

I wanted something to protect my MacBook Pro from scratches as I move around with it a lot and this case offers great ease of mind and a good layer of protection. The case itself has a great fit on the Pro and snaps easily into place, no need for an obscene amount of force or anything like that. Some pictures I saw left me unsure how well it would "grab on" to the sides of the computer but its been holding great. I also thought that the placement of the "hooks" it has to grab onto would bother my wrists when typing but there have been no issues and I don't even notice or feel them. The case also is extremely light and adds barely any weight or size to the MacBook Pro, which is great since Apple designed the computer with a focus on thinness, portability, and weight. It also has an extremely soft and nice feel to the case itself. You can sometimes get fingerprints on the case if your fingers are greasy from food or something, but I wouldn't say it easily tracks prints on it. I've had some on there that are kind of hard to rub off with just a dry paper towel but even then they are barely noticeable and I'd contend that simply a damp paper towel will take care of it. The bottom silicone feet do a great job at keeping your MacBook Pro from sliding around and even raise it a bit, which in the event of a spill may buy you some more time to move the computer and even depending on how much liquid there is could keep it from touching a lot of the computer itself, although the sides on the left and right are vulnerable because they're open ventilation there but thats due in part to Apple's design. The ventilations on the bottom of the case along with the slightly raised feature have helped dissipate heat when doing some light audio and video editing. I've had no issues using the USB-C ports on this device and even with my Griffin Magnetic cable (which is the bulkiest cord I use) there have been no conflicts with the case. I have to say I haven't used the keyboard cover as I use UPPERCASE's premium keyboard protector. I would say by looking at it and using a Kuzy version in the past, that if you don't feel like buying another brand, it'll get the job done but it may not allow a lot of light through since it is really black. Overall, great laptop that protects in style and comfort at a reasonable price.

This is the second laptop case I have bought from this company and this one fits well and looks very nice. I have no complaints with the laptop cover. The keyboard cover on the other hand is a floppy and warped piece of silicon that doesn't sit properly on the keyboard. I contacted the seller and sent them pictures and they told me to contact Amazon since this was packed and sold by them. Amazon's only "solution" was for me to send both the laptop cover and keyboard cover back, wait for my refund to process, then reorder and hope the keyboard cover is better... which judging by the other reviews isn't likely. It seemed like a lot of wasted time, energy, and fuel for a little piece of rubber so I passed. FWIW the keyboard cover came folded up inside of the laptop cover which probably contributed to it being warped out of shape. The better ones seem to be sold in a flat box for this very reason. Amazon did say they would credit me $10 which will mostly cover the cost of another keyboard cover so things should turn out fine for me. With the number of complaints about the keyboard cover though I think the company that makes it should be doing a better job or not include it at all.

Original review: 11/15/2021: The case itself seems to be pretty sturdy, but it doesn't fit right. As you can see, one end of the bottom piece doesn't sit flush against the laptop, as if it's been bent outward or something. And now that I see the pictures, I can see what looks like tool marks where someone has possibly tried to trim the edge. Perhaps to try and make it fit better. I don't know if this is a design flaw or if I just got a bad one (or one that was returned and sent to me as new). Either way, I will be returning this unless the manufacturer can address it. Updated 11/17/2021: I submitted for a return of the original case and asked them to send a replacement. It just arrived today and I swapped out the ill fitting bottom piece for the replacement. It fits like a champ. So this was just an issue with that particular piece. I would now highly recommend this case as the fit and finish is very good. Build quality seems very sturdy as well. I do like the color (darkblue) as well. Thanks Amazon for the quick replacement and for making this right.

My review is pretty much what a lot of reviews say. The plastic fits and is quite easy to install. The "floppy rag" keyboard cover instantly goes into the trash. And the fingerprints? Worse even than the other reviews generally convey. If you want to have a pretty Mac, this is not the cover for you. If you travel the world and want to add some scratch protection in your backpack, for the computer itself and other things like your camera, then this case has a utility value. For that reason I kept and am using mine. It is very space efficient, and if your pack is tight and you can't really afford the space of a dedicated sleeve, then this skin is a plus. I kept mine, and am using it as I write this on a trip to Norway. Fingerprint mottled and messy, it is still useful because it adds a layer of security.

Fit well bought for exterior protection of MBP. The keyboard cover is ok but that was just a bonus in my eyes.
