i picked up these plain black thigh high toeless compression stockings in the black friday sale for £16.99 & honestly i would have happily paid the full £20. they stay up perfectly thanks to the small dots of glue around the thigh, which actually work without digging in or rolling down. the toeless part makes such a difference when you are in bed most of the day because your feet do not overheat & you still get proper circulation support. i'm 5'6 & 126lbs so i got a medium & they fit perfectly. i'm in bed around twenty three hours a day with chronic pain so comfort is everything. these stockings are genuinely one of the few things that make a noticeable difference. they give enough compression to help with swelling & circulation but they are still soft & wearable for long stretches. i forget i'm even wearing them which is exactly what i need. as an autistic person, tight clothing around my waist or hips is a total no for me. anything restrictive usually makes me miserable. these stockings surprised me because they feel supportive without triggering that horrible tight sensation. they make me feel contained in a really comforting way, almost like a weighted blanket but for your legs. if you are someone who likes gentle pressure for sensory reasons, these are worth trying. the toeless design is honestly one of the best parts. whenever hospitals give you compression socks they always pinch at the toes & after an hour you are desperate to rip them off. with these, your toes stay free so there is no pressure or pinching at all. it also means you can wear them comfortably in bed, in hospital, on planes, wherever you need them, without that trapped feeling. also ladies, whether you go for these or the full foot one, you can easily use these as your daytime or even lingerie stockings & nobody will ever know. they look that good. they are also impressively opaque.

I am happy with these tights and ended up buying a second pair because I wear them so much. I’m very pregnant and I have varicose veins in my legs. I have used other stockings and socks but I think these offer the best compression feeling and pain relief - they are quite tight. Size M fits me well (I was UK size 10-12 before pregnancy and my legs are not swollen). I measured myself before I purchased. Sometimes they slide down a little and crease behind the knees and ankles if I go from sitting to standing frequently, but I just pull them back up easily. If I’m in one position, like standing, they stay put. I like that I can wear sandals in them. They are expensive for what they are but the comfort and compression are worth it to me.

Got these as recommended by the doctor due to the wife having serious varicose veins during pregnancy. She said they were uncomfortable and itchy at times but helped a lot with the other symptoms. She would recommend these.

Comfortable bra

These were not as high compression level as I expected. I bought these in a medium but they might have worked better in a smaller size. I also had an allergic reaction to the rubber grip band (I am not usually allergic to things like this) which left a mark on both my legs. I was not that impressed with these.

Open-toed style averts pain in toes. Full-length up to top of legs. Reduces oedema in feet and calves well.
