I’m really pleased with this MALACASA 4.4 Qt casserole dish. It looks elegant and clean in classic white, and it goes straight from oven to table beautifully. The porcelain finish feels smooth and well made, and it’s very easy to clean — even after baking dishes with sauce and cheese. Contrary to some comments I read, I found it true to size and perfectly suitable for standard casseroles and lasagna portions for our family. The depth is especially nice if you like generous layers. It is a bit heavier than I expected for its size, but that also makes it feel substantial and sturdy. The lid fits well on mine and makes storage and reheating convenient. My only hope is that it holds up well over time without chipping or cracking, as porcelain can be delicate if handled roughly. So far, though, I’m very happy with the purchase and feel it’s a great value for the quality and presentation. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this 4.4-quart casserole dish specifically to bring my cheesy potato pie to my in-laws' Christmas dinner. After reading reviews of the larger covered casserole dish, it’s interior size, etc., I was not sure if it really would be just the right size for a deeply layered lasagne using standard length noodles. I was tired of trimming them to fill in 2 or 3” gaps. I took a chance and am SO glad I did! Its interior is the PERFECT size for 3 rows of noodles, slightly overlapped. The sides even flare out a bit to allow for expansion, and the cover fits well on mine. The handle is on straight, and I find it easy enough to grab to lift it. Not with a thick hot mitt, but no problem with a potholder or doubled up kitchen towel. Also, it’s NOT HEAVY for a ceramic dish! I have many pieces of stoneware for serving and baking, and this is light for its size compared to them. It will add 4.9 lbs of weight to a dish, 7.75 lbs with its cover. I’m 72, have arthritis in my hands, and weigh just over 100 lbs myself, and I’m going to enjoy using this often! The side handles are an inch deep and ridged so they won’t easily slip out of one’s hands. I’m going to make sure I have the right potholders, though, before I bake in it. IKEA used to sell some silicone 1/2-mitts that would be great for these (and other) handles. Maybe add a pair of those when gifting the larger 4.4 (or 3.4?) qt size covered dish. I LOVE the cover because it’s not just beautiful, it’s terrific for baking without aluminum foil. I will no longer need to use parchment paper underneath the tin foil I’ve always used to cover this tomato-based dish as it bakes! No more worries about aluminum leaching into my casseroles due to a chemical reaction triggered by the acid in the tomatoes, many fruits, etc. This really is the PERFECT lasagne dish!

This pan is so cute. I purchased the smaller size but I will get the bigger size next. It came securely wrapped, the color is just as pictured. The lid fit perfectly and it has a solid feel. The depth is enough for food and any liquids needed or produced.

It is not as deep as I thought that it was going to be, I needed a deep casserole dish so I was disappointed, however, it's a a nice dish, easy to clean, a little bit expensive for the size.

I really enjoyed the casserole dish, not only does it look amazing and ready for any place setting, it also ensures the food remains warm. The dish is large enough for a reasonable family size, but doesn’t take up a lot of room.

I researched an item like this for far too long. I finally decided on this because of the design, handles, lid with usable knob & size. It arrived promptly with no damage. It is beautiful, a bit heavy esp. with food inside, but just what I wanted for large casseroles or lasagna. The interior usable dimensions are 2 1/2 inches deep, 7 3/4 inches wide, & 11 1/2 inches long. The price is reasonable. It cleaned up well with using a cooking spray before filling with food. I am quite pleased with this choice. The search is over!

It’s ideal. First, it’s gorgeous, made for hanging down generations after generations. Lid fits perfectly. Cooks like a dream. Easy to wash. Am very proud of it. It’s great for two or three people.

I bought this casserole dish because I didn't have one with a lid and I have numerous recipes that call for a lid and aluminum foil is not always the best as a substitute. The bonus is that the dish is also good looking and can be brought to the table to serve and look lovely. The quailty is also excellent. I am happy with my purchase.
