They're soft, they don't drip, you can apply a really small amount of paint or a glob of paint (as needed), they spread paint really well, they're easy to control on edges (like around trim), they don't lose hairs, the hairs don't stick out to the side (on rare occasion when they do they're easy to correct), they clean really well (even for a layman like me who cleans with just water, occasionally with isopropil alcohol when they get really gunked up) and are soft and work like new after cleaning, they do not rust easily. I used 3 of the brushes a bit, but the two middle sized ones i used almost daily for near 2 months and painted 3 rooms (green, yellow, pink, and white trim and doors), and they still work perfectly. I'm not a professional. I have painted a few rooms previously on 2 occasions. My brush budget is always in this range and I have had good brushes and bad brushes (that barely function as brushes and start falling apart if you try to clean them). These are my favorite so far.

These are good brushes and they work well. They are relatively easy to clean and durable. I haven't noticed any of them fraying during use. They are well made and comfortable to hold while painting. I think these may be the best bang for your buck for the casual home owner who needs some basic paint brushes for around the house needs. I would buy them again.

I waited to rate these brushes. I've used them now and they are nice brushes for a great price. They clean up nice to reuse too. The variety is good too. I'd buy another set.

These are a great value as i just finished painting some trim with no brush marks which made the painting much more professional looking. I am amazed by the ease of cleaning the brushes and these work great!!! Thank you!

good - durable-holds paint well and last more than one use

Hubby has done most of the painting in our house, and he's has more than a few decades of experience in painting interiors. He really likes these brushes. He was able to finish the little painting job (the inside and trim of a small closet) very quickly. Since I could not handle these brushes before I bought them, I just trusted other customers and their reviews, and it paid off. These are probably not the best brushes ever made, but Hubby was very pleased with how they worked for him. And five brushes for the price was very good, better than the big hardware stores in our area. If you are a professional painter or artist, you may, or may not, like these brushes. All I know is that because there were five in the set, we are good for a couple more painting jobs in the house. (Taking care of a house is never ending!)

I bought these for some light painting of metal and wood for garage use. Could be used for interior wall painting I'm sure, just not sure how long they would last.

Purchased these brushes and only used once washed out and bristles have fallen out!
