The country of origin was different.
To be honest, it's not bad, but what shocked me was that I ordered a Japanese wooden spoon but received one made in China!!

Absolutely love this spoon. I hate the feeling of metal on my teeth and their heaviness, so tried this. They're light, strong enough, and also artistic. I highly recommend them to anyone!
