I got my daughter a small weighted blanket for after school to help her regulate. She is high anxiety so I try to do whatever I can to help her feel comfortable after a long day of over stimulation. She used the small one on the couch for a few days, and asked for a bigger one--so I bought this. She then asked to use it at night in bed. Slept with it the first night, and hasn't looked back - it's our default blanket now. It brings her a sense of calm, comfort, security. It definitely works (at least for her) The material is soft, and it has a bubbly side (she prefers that side facing toward her body) and then a smooth texture side. Both sides are a soft minky material. She is 4ft tall and the length is perfect. The weight also seems to be just right - not too heavy, not too light. My daughter is 45lbs - - they recommend around 10% of your body weight for the proper calming affect. It washes well too - I did normal cycle (cold) and then threw it in the dryer on the delicate cycle. Came out just fine and seems like it will handle many washes.

Purchased as a gift for my nieces daughter who has autism. It is a wonderful blanket. The weight, size and thickness is perfect. My niece told me her daughter slept through the night for the first time using this weighed blanket. The colors were adorable. Wonderful product. Definitely recommend. Sorry I don’t have a pic of it.

My daughter loves it, helps calm her down

I have an older product that is no longer available from them with the same pattern design but with the 3D dotted micro-fleece on the other side, and I wanted another blanket to alternate to while the other was in the wash. Admittedly, I didn't pay attention while ordering to realize that this one was cotton only on both sides, so that was a surprise when I first opened the package (that and I think this one is maybe 3lbs lighter?), but it ended up being a perfect mistake! I get hot flashes during my sleep thanks to the meds I'm on, and while I love the fleece on the other blanket, I often find myself switching to the cotton side before morning and still feeling to hot when I wake up again. So, the cotton only blanket is a god send. I also know that that this is meant for children, but I find that "adult" weighted blankets are too heavy and are a struggle to adjust around me as I wiggle around and fidget while getting comfortable--maybe I'm just the wrong kind of autistic, lol. I also think that kids get all of the fun, whimsical designs leaving us adults with solid colors that are often not very lively and are very boring (there's a decent variety provided by Silvio for adults thankfully), and I absolutely love crocodilians. So, the weight and pattern design is nice and perfect for me: it meets my special interest while providing sensory comfort without being overwhelming. 5/5⭐ will buy more crocodile products from them again in due time

Love the cat pattern! I do wish it were longer but it is a nice blanket. Unfortunately it didn’t help my daughter sleep better but I don’t blame the blanket for that.

My 6 year old loves it. It has really helped with getting to relaxing state to sleep. She is more rested in the mornings and not a tired at school and rarely night wakings anymore

This blanket is perfect for a toddler who likes the sensory feeling of Pressure. It’s not too heavy and she doesn’t overheat under it. It’s kind of cooling (according to my 5yr old). She slept better with it!

My daughter had another weighted blanket from another company that we liked, but I needed to upgrade her to a 10 lbs blanket. I looked into quite a few and felt that I was taking a leap with this one (the price seemed much cheaper than on indivdual companies' websites). To my surprise, the blanket is just awesome. Really cute, weight well distributed, I could not be happier about this purchase. The delivery time was also unrealistically fast. She also sleeps well with it. Thanks guys.

Love the size, perfect for toddler bed. Great design, well made and durable. My toddler does bot get too warm while sleeping under this, but does seem to sleep slightly better with the added weight. Would prefer a removable cover instead of pattern printed directly on, as toddler beds only have fitted sheets, not flat sheets. It is difficult to wash and hang the whole blanket as it takes a full day to dry completely. A cover would be much easier to wash on a regular basis.

I just received our blanket today so I can't review it for sleep quality, but I can say the crocodile print is adorable! I love that I will be able to throw the blanket in the wash. The material is soft to the touch too. My daughters immediately wanted to use the blanket to have picnics on. Only giving it 4 stars though due to it not coming with a cover. It seems to be an odd size (41x60) so I'm trying to buy a cover that will work with this blanket.

My 4 yr old definetly has an easier time falling asleep because of this. Kinda crazy expensive for the size and couldn’t return for free so kept it. Does help! But mucho denero
