Westcott 15804 Multi-Purpose Personal Paper Trimmer, 12 in

What a handy little tool this is! I used it to quickly and neatly cut my daughter's graduation pictures.The horizontal lines are very helpful to correctly align the paper. I did them one by one, as if you do a few photos (which are thicker than regular paper) it will not cut as swiftly and may not be perfectly straight. Even so, this got the task done quickly and easily, and at a great price. On a different note, why do photography companies charge so much for professional pictures, and not even cut it!

I use this for cutting adhesive vinyl and HTV and it works really well. My cuts are always perfectly straight. I used it to cut my son’s school pictures as well and no issues. Nice cutter for a reasonable price.

So far, this is working really well. I ordered some 8.5"x11" flyers for my acting business; which I need to trim down to 8"x10". I'm very pleased. It's easy to use, lightweight, trims cleanly -- much cheaper and more convenient than the traditional chopping block paper cutter. Big improvement over scissors, which tend to give cuts that aren't quite straight. It wouldn't work for more than one sheet at a time, tho.

For my needs of cutting cardstock for my homemade greeting cards this works well so far. What I don't like is there are no numbers to guide you. I would like to see the actual numbers in inches! It does have guide lines for angles that are clearly marked but I need inch sizes not 45 degree angles. It cuts well once you figure out where the cut line is. Do a practice cut first!

This is the second trimmer I've bought and I could not be happier. The first one I used for more than two years for my small, handmade business and the only reason I bought a new one is because I haven't had luck getting quality replacement blades. It was only a few more dollars to buy a new trimmer. I primarily use it for trimming my product labels and tags.

I was recently in search for a paper trimmer for my scrapbooking/planner needs and found this reasonably priced product by Westcott. Got this for a steal at $5.96 and a few days after purchasing, the price went up to $6.99!?! At first, I was hesitant to get this due to the various reviews on here about it not trimming properly, but glad I just went along with my gut instinct because it does the job. Overall, it's decent and works for all my paper trimming needs.

I'm pretty happy with this paper trimmer. I bought a cheaper no-name one and returned because it was total garbage. This one is not durable enough for constant use in a busy office but for light use it's fine. One thing that I found strange compared to other cutters I've used was the placement of the blades. Typically the blades cut along a center groove in the plastic guard. It makes it rather easy to know exactly where your cut will be made. On this one, however, it cuts to the outside of the guard. There is a mark on the cutters to let you know where the blade will run. If you're trying to be extremely precise it might take a little getting used to but for most people probably won't make much difference.

Works perfectly - just as I'd expected from this brand. Cuts easily and neatly, and I have no hesitation recommending this product. I got it in an Amazon "used - as new" warehouse deal for less than £10. Another thing I like about this product, is that you can buy replacement cutting blades for it (available here on Amazon, and are also really cheap)

I practiced a few cuts to figure out how to line up the paper properly, and once I determined the logistics, it was a breeze to get accurate cuts. The blades are very sharp and I was able to cut in both directions no problem. I purchased this paper cutter for some arcade art I created for a tiny cabinet project called The Picade. I am very impressed with this tool. Having the ruler attached to the device makes it very easy to keep everything in place. I would highly recommend this cutter for precision work, the price is terrific and the quality is excellent. Highly recommended!
