Set of 3 Pittsburgh Pro Reversible Click Type Torque Wrench Sizes 1/4", 3/8", 1/2"

I've never owned or used a torque wrench before. Pretty easy to set up and when I heard those clicks for the first time, it gave me a lot of confidence working on my wife’s Porsche. Well made and sturdy. Great investment.

The set has inch lbs and foot lbs wrenchs. The three wrenchs come in a 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive. They are pre- calibrated, and has a switch to change from clockwise to counter-clockwise rotation so that you can tighten or loosen nuts or bolts. They come with individual cases for each wrench to protect and keep them clean. Needed tool for specific tightening required in some applications. It is easy to set and use with clear marking in different measurements. I recommend this set as it has worked as it should in my machine repair and restoration work.

Bought these to use in places where it is difficult to read the scale on the set of beam type torque wrenches I own. These work great. I have checked their calibration using various methods and for my purposes I am very satisfied. I check the calibration roughly every year using a torque test, against my beam type wrenches, and also using a known weight and math. I check each method at various points in the range of each of the wrenches. I have not had the need to recalibrate the wrenches as they have been spot on since purchasing two years ago. I do agree that the scale is can be a bit hard to read at times but I like the fact that adjustment scale is stamped/engraved into the metal as there is no print to wear away. I am happy that I purchased these and would buy again if needed. I use for working on my car, motorcycle, mountain and road bikes, and other projects where I am concerned about torque. I would recommend these for anyone looking for torque wrenches to use in a non-professional environment....and I only say that because I have not put them to the test in a professional environment where they would be used throughout each day under tough circumstances. For home shop use these have been great.

All three Torque wrenches arrived and work great. I have used all three when working on my Ford F150. They are easy to adjust and are perfect for the weekend mechanic. The cases are very nice and will keep my investment safe to use over and over again. Quality tool will last me the rest of my life and into my sons.

I work as the main tech in an independent automotive shop. I bought these after needing to borrow a torque wrench 3 times in one month, after which I decided it was enough of an inconvenience that it warranted purchasing a new tool. I have a 3/8 drive torque wrench, but not a 1/2 inch drive. This set came with 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 click torque wrenches and blown plastic cases. Each torque wrench has a conversion chart in the case, making converting a breeze. I have already used them twice, and so far all is well. I was suspicious of the 3/8 wrench's calibration, but it matches my craftsman perfectly. I will be testing them all against a digital torque wrench within the next month, and will post updates. If you're in the market for torque wrenches, and don't use them every day, these will no doubt fit the bill. EDIT- so, we tested them and they did well. All were at about a 2.8% variance, which is within acceptable norms (for us, aviation mechanics probably won't be using these). The testers did say that they couldn't really adjust these to get them perfectly dialed in, just something I thought I would mention
