Needed something to keep me busy in the evenings that would also challenge me. This definitely did that. I tried to do at least an hour a day and it took me 35 days to complete. Instructions were very clear. It is very fiddly as the parts are so small so wouldn’t recommend if you’re not a patient person. The only negative is that one of the smaller parts was so delicate that it snapped while I was trying to fold it into shape, but this only happened once. Just be very gentle with it. Will definitely purchase more of these to keep me busy.

As a long-time fan of Metal Earth who has tackled several complex builds, I found the Mars Rover to be an amazing and engaging project. It was the most most complex model I’ve completed and it surely tested my skills in the best way possible. Now fully assembled, it proudly sits on a shelf in my guest room. The scale and proportions are absolutely perfect; it is neither too small to lose the intricate details nor too large to display easily. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable experience. Pros - Vibrant Visuals: The colored metal sheets add a fantastic pop of life and realism compared to the standard, silver-only models. - Clear Instructions: Despite the high complexity of the metal boards, the provided directions are mapped out clearly and logically. - Perfect Display Size: The final model has a great aspect ratio, making it an eye-catching and perfectly proportioned display piece. - Satisfying Complexity: Offers a robust, enjoyable challenge that veteran builders will truly appreciate. Cons - Not for Beginners: The high difficulty curve means this will be highly frustrating for first-timers (though this isn't a product flaw, just the reality of the kit's design). Recommendation to Seller - Keep expanding the line of colored metal kits! The added vibrancy really elevates the final product and makes it stand out on a shelf. Advice to Potential Buyers - Buy this if you are an experienced metal model builder looking for a stunning, colorful display piece that will genuinely test your dexterity and patience. - Avoid this if you are a beginner, an early starter, or lack the specialized tools required for precision metal folding. - You will need specialized metal bending and clipping tools to complete it, though they are thankfully quite cheap to acquire.

Montaggio abbastanza impegnativo, a causa di parti piuttosto piccole. Questo kit non è adatto a persone poco pratiche e prive di pazienza. This is a difficult build. And it helps to have small fingers. I finally had to secure some of the joints with a dab of super glue. It finds its way into hidden spaces and help hold the very fragile wheel supports in place.
