Good simple to learn and play deck building game.
My friend and I love this game. while we generally play Dominion for our deckbuilding game the box is huge compared to this one. It's small and comes with all you need to play. Likes: If you have played a deck builder then this will be easy to pick up. The combat is manageable and can get a bit swingy if certain cards come into the lineup without any healing available. A bunch of expansions including boss battle which turn the game into a one vs all thing. A few campaign expansions that make the game a co-op experience and finally classes, the add some player powers and asymmetrical starter decks. Dislikes: One of the 'colors' has all the healing and is the only one so actually getting healing cards isn't that common so if your opponent gets lucky with the lineup and money in hand they can do a ton of damage in a single turn. The game does get samey with about 20ish plays. The expansions help with this and make the game way better. The expansions are basically the same price as the base game. Shouldn't really be a point here but I figured I should mention it. Sleeving the cards makes it not fit the box it came in. Final Thoughts: Overall a fun, easy, and quick game. The game does feel fresh if you play it for a while and then wait some time and come back to it. Or if you add the expansions. 8.5/10 (Will always play it, base game or expansions)

Fast-Paced Fun Deck-building Card Game
Fantastic deck-building card game that has become an instant family hit. The gameplay is fast-paced, with plenty of opportunities for creative combos and tactical decisions. The artwork is vibrant and distinctive, really drawing you into the fantasy world. If you're already familiar with TCG's like Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, etc, this game will feel right at home. It's not nearly as complex as those but there is just enough tactical depth and choices to be made to have those players right at home. This game plays great at 1v1 or 2v2 (with a shared pool). On the downside, the game can feel a bit unbalanced at times, especially with certain character classes having stronger starting abilities (we find that certain blue cards are a must take). Also, it might be a bit complex for newcomers to TCGs in general (I would recommend it for players 10+). Overall, it’s a great game for players looking for a fun, quick and engaging card game experience.

This is your champion?
Hero Realms is a thrilling adventure that brings the excitement of deck-building to the table. With its immersive fantasy theme and fast-paced gameplay, it's sure to captivate players of all skill levels. Building your deck to unleash powerful combos and defeat opponents feels satisfying and strategic. The variety of character classes adds depth and replayability, while the compact box makes it easy to take the game anywhere. Whether you're a fan of deck-building games or new to the genre, Hero Realms is a heroic addition to any game night. I rave over deck builders! This game is easy to learn and plays well at most ages.

Awesome deck-builder that's beginner friendly!
Hero Realms is a fun, quick-to-learn deck-building game where you battle other opponents (1v1 minimum, and then there are several variations if you have more folk). Your first game will be figuring out how each turn goes, what cards do, and how everything fits together. By your second game, you're feeling better and feel the flow, then by your third game, you'll start thinking more strategically and have a blast. If I compare it to other deck-building games, it's somewhat like Hearthstone, Magic, and Pokemon TCG, but with a less overwhelming amount of choices, and easy-to-understand mechanics. Every match sees a lot of variation and I've been through about a dozen+ 1v1. We're excited to get the character expansion sets and more. I definitely recommend this game and it's an awesome price point!

This is a really fun two player game
This is a really fun two player game. I have been playing this with my 9 year old son, and he really likes it. Only took him a few games to really get it. Sometimes I need to double check his cards to make sure he didn't miss anything, but he is improving. This game is fast paced and can dramatically shift, which is fun. I think there are more cards than in basic Star Realms and Cthulhu realms (which I have only played through their mobile apps) which is great. When we get bored with the deck, which will take a while, maybe we will get the character decks or whatever. As for multiplayer, I have only played that once, four people playing damage effects everyone and just the row in the middle. I was trying to get my gaming group to try out a handbuilder, and it didn't go so great. Over too quick, no chance to have strategy or whatever. I am sure we were doing a few things wrong and I need to play more. Two player has been awesome, need experiment more with the multiplayer.

A nice intro to deck building games for kids and adults
I recently got into the board game/card game hobby and deck builders was a category I avoided because I have no interest in continually buying cards to play a game well and things like Pokémon and such never really interested me. I actually bought this deck to help get my eight year old son into the hobby. I ultimately chose this card game for the following reasons: 1. While it has character cards that you can buy separately, even if you never buy them the game is already ready to play 2-4 players with no more purchasing needs. 2. It plays like Star Realms, another popular game but this fantasy/heroes theme is more appealing to my son. 3. It plays fast once you learn the rules 30 minutes or so. 4. The skills to win have a Luck of the draw component but also relies on good decision making. At eight my son prefers luck based games to even out the likelihood he can beat dad at games. 5. At $20 or so the cost is excellent for gambling on a purchase your kid might not like. Overall, the game is a lot of fun for both my son and I. We bought the five character card packs (about $5 each) to add to the fun and change up the 10 card starting decks. I am not sure who likes the game more between us and that is a good thing! Buy this game with confidence!

Great quick deck building game
This is a great game! It is very easy to learn if you read the instructions and possible watch a play through on YouTube. We picked it up In about 20 min and the other thing, you can play through this in about...20 min! It’s a great quick game in between games or when you don’t have a lot of time. Small box so super easy to carry around. I love the artwork as well on the cards! If you like deck building games (or are new and want to start playing them) this is a great game for you.

Good game, my dude.
We love this game! Deckbuilding game with a good variety of market cards. The expansions make the game very fun too, but the original game is definitely good enough. The box is compact, but has everything you need in it - it is easy to store because of the size. The box and cards are good quality. The artwork on the cards is very nice too.

Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Great quality
The box is sturdy, more than the boxes than come with the Star Realms games. The art is crisp and beautiful. It's also a really easy game to learn! My partner and I added house rules though, because unlike Star Realms, this game has a lot LESS healing cards - so we upped the starting HP to 100. It allows you to actually have time to build a deck and play for a good amount of time.
