I have been using a competitors facial exfoliating facial mitt for about a month. When I read the review on this, I decide to try it. Wow. I've used it once and I’ve been really impressed with the Seraphic Skincare Premium Exfoliating Facial Mitt. It’s a simple product, but it works surprisingly well. This mitt actually fits my fingers, unlike the competitors one. My skin felt much smoother and looked brighter afterward. I would purchase again.

I'm a guy so, I've never really had a skin care routine. My face had been very dry and flaky in some areas (forehead, eyebrows, nose) for quite some time, and moisturizers alone were only temporary solutions that I hated having to constantly re-apply. I got this exfoliating pad to scrub off my dead, flaky skin when I shower, and it's vastly improved things! It took me a couple weeks to figure out the kind of pressure to use and how frequently to do it. Initially I was pressing far too hard, and the next day my skin was clearly in repair mode, almost scabbed over in some areas. So, I backed off a bit on the pressure, and over time I've been able to reduce the frequency too! I shower every other day (so, 3-4 times a week), and I was using it every time, but now I only need it once every 2 weeks or so, and only very lightly. The dry problem areas of my skin have mostly disappeared and I couldn't be more relieved!

I have been crazy obsessed with the body exfoliation mitts they sell, and I was wondering if the one for the face would be able to live up to its FAR larger ‘body’ mitt counterpart. Well yes, and no. One side is the exfoliation component, the other side is for cleansing. FIRST, the key to the mitts success is giving your skin enough time to absorb water and soften up so that the exfoliation effect will work. I usually let my face absorb water for about 10 minutes, so it’s best used in the shower IMO. SECOND, DO NOT add anything other than water to your skin BEFORE using it. (Even washing your face with a cleanser prior to exfoliating will make the exfoliation part moot!) This mitt requires FRICTION to make the exfoliation work, so any chemicals/soaps/oils on your skin other than water will just leave you thinking it didn’t do anything. THIRD, get the little mitt wet and then squeeze out ALL possible water- and while keeping your face out the water, start using circular motions with the exfoliation/rough side. The amount of skin that it removes will depend on all factors I’ve mentioned above, as well as how much dead skin cells you have on your face, and how hard you exfoliated. I have used it a couple times and since I’m quite a connoisseur of Korean exfoliation methods, I can say, it WILL remove facial skin. After I finish with the exfoliation side, THEN I switch it to the other side of the mitt and then I go onto use a cleanser on that side to remove anything left on my skin. After that, I wash the whole mitt out and let it air dry. Will it remove as much skin as the big body mitt? No. But your face shouldn’t be scrubbed THAT hard anyhow. (Not going to lie, I’ve used the big body mitt on my face before and yes, it’s definitely more aggressive. But, don’t follow that idea, my face was on fire- my fault!) With this smaller facial mitt, I think it’s great for using weekly. I can’t say if it’s life changing, but again, it’s great for when you want a non-chemical deep face exfoliation. Plus, the other side is for cleansing your face so that’s an added bonus. I will certainly repurchase this facial mitt when I have to buy another body mitt. One star off since it’s a bit small, I wish they made it a little bigger length and width wise. It comes just to the bottom of my fingers, and deep exfoliation requires more than my four short fingers can manage.

This is better than any exfoliating product from a bottle or jar! The dual sides make it easy to be able to use daily and/or when you need it. The rough side helped remove peels of skin from a mild sunburn on my forehead with one use. The mit shape is perfect for controlled massage. Rinses well. The fabric loop helps hang it to dry. Has a slightly funny manufacture smell when first opened, but that goes away. Glad I purchased this!

This really works to remove dead skin cells

The mitt on the right is the one that I’ve been using since October 24, and as you can see there is a drastic difference between the brand new one I bought which is on the left. My mitt started to smell weird and as you can see in the picture the label had changed colour and the mitt had started to rip. As someone who has really dry skin, using this everyday to gently exfoliate my skin keeps it soft and free from build up. I use the terry side cloth in the mornings with just water to cleanse my face, and at night, when I double cleanse, I use the waffle side with my cleanser to provide exfoliation. With this mitt you don’t need to buy a face scrub as using this with just your normal cleanser will give the same results, and you can choose how gentle or rough you want to scrub with this mitt. It’s also really good to exfoliate the lips with. After, I just rinse, squeeze, and then leave on top of my radiator to air dry. If you’re thinking of buying this I would definitely recommend it. £7 for an exfoliating face mitt is better than spending £££ on these branded face scrubs, and this will last you longer as well.

I bought this as I heard it helped with razor burn. Let me tell you this is the best thing I have ever used. After trying different razors, shaving cream, moisturizer etc. nothing helped with razor burn after shaving. I started using this and I no longer have any issues. It's been about 6 months of using after I shave each time and I no longer have to shave my legs every day. My legs stay sooo soft and I can go almost a week without needing to shave. Well worth it!

Excellent for exfoliating skin. Have been using for many months now and still works well. Easy to clen.
