Does not fit Brita maxtra jugs
As others have stated, this filter does not fit Brita maxtra jugs, as the pin at the bottom of the filter doesn't open the valve of the jug. I think there must have been a change in design?Anyway, just avoid these for your Brita jugs!

Love it, love it, love it
Recently I bought an AQUAPHOR jug with a long filter after recommendation from my brother and really good market research. Before that, I have used BRITA for years, but found that it is not a good solution and the prices of the filters are rising. As I love the new filter jug, I decided to buy a maxfor + filter from the same brand as it also fits BRITA jugs. I use a BRITA kettle so I needed an extra filter in addition to the jug filter. I am more than happy. The price is amazing, the water is so soft and more than pure, it tastes good. I recommend it without hesitation.

Filter ???
These don't seem to filter these days. Water just flows quickly through the middle. I do all the pre use routine. At first they seemed as good as Brita but now pretty ineffective.
