Batteries worked fine in my lawn lights

Well worth the purchase for solar lights batteries. The original battery doesn't have the same power as these do. And after switching out my batteries on most of my lights. They stay on until sunrise now and it's nice they don't shut off in maybe 6 hrs now.

Fair Price for 8 batteries. However, I do not know how long they will last.

I thought I"d have to discard my solar lights and purchase new ones but this fixed them up perfectly.

Since Radio Shack closed, it's hard to find non-standard batteries in local retail stores. Many popular garden lights and solar-powered holiday decorations can be opened, but difficulty finding AAA size NiCad batteries to replace the factory installed cells can make that efforts seem fruitless.I found several offerings for AAA rechargeable batteries online. I bought this 12-pack from GEILIENERGY because I liked the price break (for buying in quantity) and also because these cells have a power rating of 600mAh - which is higher than the cells some OEM install in their products (often 300mAh or less). More power means your light will stay lit longer after the Sun goes down.I recently put one of them in a solar garden path light and was pleasantly surprised to find that the light came on! It appears that the company charges them before they are packed and shipped for sale. That's a real bonus because you don't have to wait a whole day for the Sun to charge the battery before you can see how your light will look.Based on my experience so far, I would buy products from this company again.

Like most Chinese batteries, the actual capacity is much less than advertised.Advertised as 600mAH, it tested at 327mAH.the EBL cells are are better at 397 mAH.Tenergy cells are closer to their stated capacity, but more expensive.NiMH cells in general have higher capacity, but do not tolerate abuse as well as NiCd.NiCd must be recycled as the Cd (cadmium) is more toxic than lead.Technical details:After a full charge, the cell was placed on a trickle charge to insure it was charged to 100% of capacity.It was then discharged through a 30 ohm resistor until a voltage of < 0.9 volts was reached. The current was measured every 5 minutes and the total mAH was computed as the sum of the 5 minute mAH.

I got a bunch of solar light stakes at Dollar Tree for $1.25 each - so excited! After a couple of months, despite diligent attempts to keep them exposed during daylight hours, they began losing brightness and longevity. Well, these new batteries are just terrific. I replaced all the interior 150 mAh batteries with these 600 mAh batteries and not only increased the brightness but the longevity lasted from dark until shortly after daylight. I was concerned about replacing the lower mAh batteries with these 600 mAh but it isn't a problem. Do it and, for the price of a better NiCd battery, I've capitalized on a steal at the Dollar Tree. It's like I got a $20 fixture for $1.25...oh, and I purchased a EBL battery charger for the new batteries on Amazon, as well, to add greater value to my little solar light stakes!

I use these lights (prefer 1.5m version) to enhance flamethrower effects on Dimestore Doughboys (pre-WWII slush-cast figures) WWI German trench-raider conversions. I think they do just swell.

・一年前、近所の風呂屋(行ったことはないよ)の駐車場には、30個ちかくのソーラーライト　が設置され、「そーらー(ﾀﾞｼﾞｬﾚ)、かっこいいだろう」と輝いていましたが、今では、　晴れた日の夜に、3個ほどの“か弱い点灯”です。20個以上が1年で壊れました。　・ソーラーライトは、1年程度で使えなくなるようですが、原因の９０％は、充電電池の　消耗によるものです。　残りの１０％は高い順に、サビによる、電池ソケットの接触不良、スイッチの接点不良、　内蔵部品のリード線の断線、などですが、ソーラーパネルの不良はほとんど(接続線の　サビによる断線はあるよ！)有りません。　・現在作られているソーラーライトに使われている充電電池は、ほとんどが、NiMHです。　Netの記事で、NiMH、NiCDの電池の劣化を比べました。 <ニッケル水素電池> = 自己放電率が高く、管理がやや面倒。長期保存では、満充電にする。 = 過放電に弱い為、“空にして保存すると劣化”が進行する。 = 寿命は平均的。5年程度が、性能劣化の指標とされる。　<ニッカド電池> = 管理が楽。空にして保存しても、かなりの間もつ。 = 寿命は長い。10年以上使用できる場合もある。　・ソーラーライトに使用する充電電池は、どうも、NiCDが良い様です。　価格的には、NiMHは、100均でも買えますが、NiCDは、今回の購入品は、約300円です。　高いものは使いたくないのですが、ただ交換するだけで、寿命が、3年とか5年とかに伸びる　ようなら、まあーーー 良しとするかという所です。　・寿命を比較するため、添付写真のテスト中です。開始は2022/10/21から始めました。　①元々、ソーラーライトに内蔵されていたNiMHと今回購入のNiCDの、寿命を比較します。　②設置前のテスト点灯です。 緑●ラベル：NiMH６００ｍAh 内蔵 黄●ラベル：NiCD６００ｍAh 内蔵　③自宅への階段の手摺に設置しました。下から ●●●●●●●●の順に、交互に取付 受光量に差が出ないように配慮。 午後5時頃から点灯しだし、12時頃に8個共、明るく点灯していることを確認しました。 ま、はっきりと結果が出るのは、半年後位でしょう。今のところ星は★★★です。　2023/4月頃、NiCDに交換した方が良い時は、星は★★★★★になりますね。　NiCD、NiMHの差が無いような劣化の時は、星は★1個に、変更します。　ま、気の長ーーーい、長ーーーい、長ーーーい、話です。 ご参考：2018年4月 赤+青+緑（クイック点滅）超高輝度LED使用のレヴューを書いていますが その頃に作った、ソーラー(ガーデン)ライトは、約4年半経った今も、全く正常に作動 しています。(使用充電電池は、NiMHです。昇圧回路は自作です。) そのレヴューページを見たい方は、ASIN　B00E1967IU　を検索してください。　以上
