How fine is the mist it produces?

Kind of like a spritz with a water bottle

The description says only up to two nozzles. Would it be effective to try more?

For a small unit, it may do 2 and no more.

How many days a full tank last on the minimum mist level?

Depends on how often and how long but a full reservoir probably can last up to a week or more, mine stays filled about 3-5 days and it mists every 4 hours for 30 seconds. Make sure to treat your water with repti safe to prevent calcium build up!

will the acessorys for the rs400 work with this one ( such as the extension coupling and nozzle replcements and output tube ) ?

yes they all fit but only do what is suggested. unit is not able to do multi tanks
