Disguise Women's Pirates of the Caribbean Deluxe Angelica Costume

The Value to quality was worth it. The sizing was strange. The VEST was HUGE ( like an XXL) ( I guess in keeping with the sizing), but the pant was more like a large ( which fit fine) However, I altered the vest to fit & added embellishments to vest. I didnt use the belt & I also altered the Bustier. The white top was remarkably well made. The vest, bustier & belt material was not great, so Im happy I didnt pay the retail price. The costume was a hit & I was happy.

For $50 I expected a little better quality. The boot covers were a complete joke-I didn't even use them. The pants and the shirt were about the only good thing about it. I had to safety pin the belt because it was so huge. The corset was anything BUT. I tried to put it under the belt a little so you wouldn't see my shirt or pants but it kept riding up and would pull the belt out of place too. The vest was thin and was very cheap both in material and look. The hat made some people think I was a pilgrim because by the time you do what little there is to restore it's proper shape of the hat, you can hardly see the feather sticking out from the back of your head. I guess there's a reason why most pirate costumes are over double this price: QUALITY. If you're last minute buying and need ANYTHING for a costume, go ahead. It lasted through the night and I guess that's all I needed it for, but it was definitely the cheapest costume I've gotten for this price range.

This costume is so hot and actually ran to to clothing size! The seller shipped fast too. Always a plus. Everyone loved it, and it was such a great deal!

Wow. I guess I didn't read the reviews, did I? I just saw the Disney logo and figured it must be decent. This costume is so poorly made, it's laughable - and I've seen it retailing for $70 on a couple of websites. I swear I'm not usually this cranky - it's just that awful.- Pants and hat - Throw out. Total trash. Made out of the cheapest, thinnest material possible. Horrible construction. Crushed to oblivion. Nothing salvagable.- Boot covers - Nothing at all like what's pictured. Imagine two short, flimsy polyester sleeves with a small, awkward looking cuff at the top. Throw out.- Corset and belt - Marginally better. The look is right, but they're so flimsy I'm afraid that they wouldn't make it through the night to actually wear them.- Vest - Very flimsy with exposed stitching.- Shirt - Decent.I bought this for the convenience, but I could have improvised something much better. Huge bummer. Sending it back.

The costume came in time, but just after opening the package you could definitely guess some women perfume, like if it was used before, although I've paid 50 bucks for it. Belt and the hat material looked like they were wade of some bag (like recycle bags you can buy instead of using regular plastic bags). Moreover even before put it on I've noticed some stitches were fallen apart. Eventually when I put my small size on to try on, I figured out that it was bigger than I need, cause the belt was just hanging on me. Even more corseat was not sticking with the pants making a big white line on the bottom. Eventually returned before the Halloween. Such a disappointment for 50 bucks. I would expect this item cost about 5 bucks at most. Don't buy piece of junk.

I still can't believe I got this for $20. The details are actually not bad. You don't expect these costumes to be real nice or anything. Pants are lame of course but you can wear your own black pants. Boot covers are super cute and perfect. Belt is cool and waist cincher actually sits right on me. I am 150 and a size 12 and this was the first costume that actually fit me and was even a bit large. Hat is totally lame but I read that in previous reviews so I was prepared. It was like pieces of felt from the craft store pieced together. So wear normal black pants and get a musketeer hat for $10 and for $30 you have a super cute costume.

Was worried that the costume wouldn't fit for my sister's play (even though it was a few months ago), but it was a perfect fit!
