Imperial 5 Pcs Glass Nested Dipping or Storage Bowls with Black Lids

The glass was good quality, so I'll give it that, but the lids were terrible. All I had to do was simply hold the bowl upside down (not even shake it) and the lid popped off. There was no way that these storage bowls were going to keep my foods properly. So, I put in my request for return. The return process went off without a hitch, even got my shipping and handling charge refunded. The second star in my rating goes to the customer service.

These bowls are a great value for the price - microwavable, dishwasher safe and glass instead of plastic. I'm not sure why other reviewers complained about the size when the dimensions are clearly stated in the description. Yes some of the bowls are small, but what do you expect when it's a nesting set?

They are a little smaller than people may expect. I suppose it challenging to understand the size until you are actually using them. The lids suck, consistent to many reviews. They are very thin and the very first time I tried to snap the largest on it cracked the snapping tab. I knew the lids wouldnt be phenomenal anyway because my mom has a similar, larger, set. I use these predominantly as spice and prep bowls for baking so I really do not need the lids.These are far from air tight and I would not recommend it for food carrying and storage because of this. Get a glass lock or pyrex container. Also the glass is quite thin, so much so that I questioned whether it truly was glass or a hard plastic. I think one time dropping it and it will at least chip.For me, these bowls are great because they work for my purposes. They also fit perfectly in my stainless steel mixing bowls easy storage. I use lids just for a cover when I have batter or binding mixes and so on in them.

Glass is thin, not worth the value. The lids do some what snap on. They do not stay on. Liquids spill. On the bottom of the bowl it says durable they are not. The bigger one chipped on the rim, the lid was on it..one of the smaller ones broke easily.

I think I kept the biggest bowl but the others were too small to be any use.

These are great when baking. They are small to put things in when you have things like tacos.

These are good and as described. The lids fit securely. But even though they aren't particularly thin, these seem kind of fragile. They are certainly glass, but no rugged, heavy-dury Pyrex. I'm constantly worried that one of the bowls will slip or drop. But it's glass, so that's what you would expect! I do like not have to worry about PVCs from similar plastic containers.If you have a small kitchen, hold on to the cardboard packing used between each bowl that came when shipped. And be careful to keep the lids on the top rack and far from heat elements if you use a dishwasher. The lids are also rather flimsy and warp a bit. I put them behind glassware to help protect them.The first shipment I received was not packed very well. The bowls were wrapped in bubble wrap and put back in their box, but there was no bubble wrap between layers and the box the bowls come in was not securely padded in the shipping box. The seller replaced the set within about 7 days.
