From 1-10 how much do they smell?

About 6 compared to the ones about 10 years ago. We used to clear school hallways in the 90s.For the price it's not bad. Don't get it on yourself

How long does the smell last.

Funny story, I once dropped one of these in a convenience store with a red brick floor, the look I got when paying for mu purchase was priceless. Even better was when telling a friend who was a plumber about it to have him crack up and tell me that he had been called to that store ten times to try and find the sewage leak. I have to assume the brick being porous that when they mopped it reactivated the smell and they immediately call the plumber to try and find the sewage leak.
