I’ve got sucked into Hue lightbulbs and whilst I do think they’re very expensive for what they are, especially the colourful ones, they do seem to last years! I bought these ones recently but have had other Hue bulbs for over 5 years with daily use and they never had any faults (hoping this doesn’t jinx it). I like that Hue works quickly with Alexa/Apple/Samsung etc. so it’s better integrated than other brands. Most of the bulbs I have are white ambiance ones and I’m not sure I get the most out of the colourful ones (I don’t tend to want a whole room in purple/green/red!) but I’ll keep these. As easy to fit as any other bulb, connects straight away. Lights are bright, even on the 800 lumen version.

I absolutely love Philips Hue lighting and although they are not cheap I have found them to not only be really nice lights, and very controllable either via the Philips Hue app, one of the many accessory switches or sensors and even through Apple HomeKit.Bit what I really do have to stress is yes they are expensive but some of my hue lights are over 10 years old now and still working as well as they day they were fitted, I have my entire house full of them, my lighting costs next to nothing to run and I have never had to replace a Philips hue light because of failure.

Fitted into my home Hue system OK, ready for teenage visitors to occupy the room, who love the colour selection. Have given the product 5 stars because of the amazing colour choices and ease of online control - but the bulb that it replaced had a life of less than 2 years. Others on my Hue system are still functioning OK though.

Philips lighting is the best in the world.The Hue lamps are just a pleasure to use and the lighting quality is fabulous

Easy to set up with the Phillips hue app and control via my Alexa. Good colour range and brightness

Bulbs are good use them around the house they work fast are easy to set up and easy to use once they are connected. If you connect the hue disco app they work great

Works really well with Hive and Alexa.

Good bulbs for decoration more so than tasks

Both lightbulbs turned on but only 1 connected to the app.The colour range is great & the scenes work really well.Without a hub you're limited to controlling the bulbs via Bluetooth when you're near them. They can be very slow to connect after switching the power on which is annoying & impractical.They're also really expensive, & I don't want to get my phone out every time I want to turn a light on or dim it.For controlling lamps I prefer using a smart plug to time on/off & control with voice on Google Assistant.I returned mostly because the connection issue but I probably wouldn't buy again.
