Are they water proof like the DH175?

With the phenolic diaphragm, it is weather resistant. Don't mount the speaker with the horn pointed up like a funnel, you do want water to flow back out and, keep in mind, if mounting outside, you also need to ensure that your electrical connections are weatherproof too!
