MiniFuse 2 - Compact USB Audio & MIDI Interface with Creative Software for Recording, Production, Podcasting, Guitar - White

The package arrived in a good condition, and the unboxing was super easy. The product itself behaves very well - Immediately recognized by both Windows and Mac (although ASIO drivers are recommended to be installed on Windows). The difference in sound quality is immediately noticeable for the better, compared to having no audio interface before that. One thing to mention for future buyers is the input gain level - I found out that without some digital processing, at least on Windows, my Microphone (a dynamic-range Elgato Wave DX) is too quiet. That was a bit unexpected because I verified their compatibility prior buying - So either I'm doing something wrong, or the gain is really low on this one for dynamic-range mics. Either way I solved it easily using Voicemeeter Banana for streaming purposes, and any DAW would be able to crunch through the gain without any issues. I wouldn't expect more from an entry-level product anyway, so I'm pretty happy with what I got. I was hesitant to buy from Amazon at first, given that I live outside the states, but it was so much cheaper, arrived within a week (damn!), and I'm extremely happy with the result!

I promptly received my Minifuse 2 audio interface from the Amazon Arturia Store and could not be more impressed with the exceptional quality and modern design. The hardware and software seamlessly integrate, accelerating the personal recording workflow. The hardware's knob feel is like nothing I've experienced... soft to the touch, yet turn firmly and smoothly. The knob cap indicator lines light up, which was a pleasant surprise; a soft glow emits from where the knob meets the faceplate, giving it a futuristic look. There’s even a USB hub on the back, freeing up a computer port previously reserved for my authorization dongle. Very convenient! The bundled software sets it apart from the competition, providing a user experience that exceeds expectations. Vintage emulations of staple recording studio gear provide the necessary palette of sounds for any modern audio production. The provided quick start instructions simplified installation by providing a URL to a web page that offers all the included software, along with instructional videos to guide you through the process. After getting the control panel installed, the Arturia updater app downloaded all the included plugins for me, updating to latest versions as well. It’s definitely refreshing that a product delivers not only on design aesthetics, but also provides smooth installation and guidance along the way. Overall, I'm thrilled with my Minifuse and the superior vintage software emulation plugins it comes with. If you're in the market for a reliable, pro-quality, user-friendly interface, complete with software sound set, look no further! Arturia is where it's at.

That's what I needed. I recommend it.

I got this to use with my iPad Air 2022 (with a usb-c port). I wanted something that would work for all my different instruments (keyboard, guitar, bass, e-drums, and vocals). So despite not being listed anywhere, it does work with iPad with a caveat. You need a PC or Mac to update the firmware, which is very important as I will explain. The xlr and 1/4” inputs work great and sounds good. I didn’t notice any noise. I powered a large diaphragm condenser mic with the phantom power. The knobs are green when you’ve got good levels coming through and switch to red if you’re overloading it so you can easily tell if you need to turn it down. The extra usb slot can connect usb midi, and other things I believe but that is all I tried. But here’s the reason for the 4-star review. The 5-pin midi ports did not work at first. I bought a new midi cable thinking my old one was toast. Neither worked. My e-drums worked via usb midi but not the 5-pin midi. Finally I read about a firmware update so I connected to my pc and did the firmware update with the mini fuse control center. 5-pin midi ports on the back worked fine after that. So, would have been a 5-star review if it didn’t come partially non-working out of the box requiring a firmware update.

Super awesome compared to my last interface makes basically no noise and has perfect dynamic pickup I love this because when I'm mixing I don't like to have to waste time with the unnecessary background noises that a lot of interfaces pick up it also looks very nice and comes with a full functioning software by arteria which all of their software is Rock also comes with multiple bundle kits such as their FX suite unfortunately it gives you demo version so you do have to upgrade those it comes with auto-tune on limited for 3 months and splice for 3 months as well as guitar rig light and Ableton if you don't have a software to use it with so I'd say if you're looking for a good bundle to start off with definitely get it however I've been doing this for a minute and I wanted a better audio interface

This product effectively fulfills its purpose, whether it's connecting an instrument via MIDI or linking audio speakers for music production. The Arturia Minifuse 2 gives a superb flat response. The audio input quality is crystal clear and crisp which is quite unexpected at this price range. My room is not acoustically treated but the voice which I get after recording does not contain any external noise or hiss which is audible to human ears. The output volume (i.e. the volume which is coming out of your computer such as music/ songs/etc.) is not that loud (I use Eris 3.5" Studio Monitors), but is soothing to your ears even if you turn in to full (5 o’clock position). The headphones (I use AKG K52 Wired Over Ear Headphones) output is quite good. For listening to your vocals while recording you need to boost your voice using compressors from your DAW. (I use Nuendo 4). The software bundle which comes with this interface are useful only if you use new updated DAWs (64bit DAWs). The VST plug-ins which comes with Arturia Minifuse 2 does not work with Nuendo 4. The Arturia input sound checking software (Minifuse Control Centre) is of great help to fix the gain of your microphone/ instruments. You can turn the the 48V on/off from the computer without physically pressing the button on your Minifuse 2 interface, which is a great feature. The gain level of the microphone (condenser or dynamic) is quite good as compared to many other interfaces in the market. If you keep the knob at 11 o'clock position, the input signal sounds perfectly fine (I use sE Electronics X1 A Professional Large-diaphragm Condenser Microphone) and input level does not clip at all. You can also check from the Minifuse Control Centre that your input voice is clipping or not. (**Clipping means if the voice you hear from the output of your speakers is hitting the max upper limit and is distorting or is unclear. It is said to be a good output if your voice which comes out of the speakers are smooth, clear and crisp. The easiest way to understand this is by noticing the blue lights on the gain knobs in your Arturia Minifuse 2. If it turns red, it means the audio input is clipping.) Coming to the knobs, they are quite sturdy and give a premium feel as they are rubberized. The Direct monitor button is an additional plus point to the Arturia minifuse 2. If you turn that on, you can hear on both your earphones which really helps a lot while monitoring. As a whole, this is a wonderful device and must be purchased if you are a music lover like me and want to have your own home studio. It is undoubtedly a professional device. The loopback feature is another plus point to the device. It helps you to record the audio on your computer, which is very useful if you intend to record something you hear on the computer. Last but not the least, if your room is prone to dust, do not purchase the “White” colour Minifuse 2 as it will get dirty in few days of use. A USB-C to USB A cable comes with the device which is good for low latency. The latency which is there is quite low and will not be a problem while monitoring. excelente interface, som do meu bm-800 (que tinha muito ruido na umc22) ficou com ruído bem baixo utilizo un sansom c01 nessa interface, caixas de som, piano midi (plugado no usb) e fone. Funcionando perfeitamente
