easy install
Lawn mower seat is like new again, easy fit

Simple installation.
These Seay bumps are good quality. I’m glad I read the reviews because the folks that said put them in hot water for a few minutes to soften them up were spot on. Also a little squeeze with a channel lock pliers was a huge help. Had them installed in less than 5 minutes after the y were warm.

Firmer than original READ for installation tip.
Very firm but easy to install with some ingenuity. My old ones on my 2000 LX255 were totally degraded. I got these and at first I could not imagine how they were going to be installed given how hard they are. I placed them into hot water for a few minutes and squeezed them with long channel lock pliers. They they fit on simply with no effort. I'm sure these will outlast me.

Raised seat back to intended height for a more comfortable ride
The old supports were dried and shrunk. The new ones fit great in my John Deere LX 280. Raised the seat for a much more comfortable ride while mowing. Nice fix for cheap money.

Good replacement seat springs
I was able to install these on my LX277 pretty quickly and easily. I used a pair of channel lock pliers to squeeze the base of the springs to get them seated into the slot. Once I got the groove aligned properly with the metal mount on the mower, they seated firmly. They fit well and seem very durable.
