Travelon Anti-Theft Active Waist Pack, Black

I bought this for my first trip to Europe. I saw videos about pick pockets and DID NOT want my passport or phone stolen. I had my entire itinerary on my phone. I wore this little pack on the front of me. It’s small, but was perfect for my use. I kept my passport and large cash in the back zippered pocket, directly against me. The main pocket held my phone, keys, credit card and small cash. There is one protective pocket for the credit card. The front small pocket had coins and a little cash. The pack has a locking mechanism to help keep the buckle from being opened. The pockets have zipper locks. Yes I often kept them locked. I was very comfortable walking around in this little pack. It’s not very big, so don’t expect to put a lot of things in it. I also carried one of their small backpacks when I had more things to carry. I had my phone on a tether and I have a clip phone protector. My phone was usually clipped to the front or front side of my pack. I only put it in the front pack pocket when I needed it to be really secure. I’m very happy with the Fanny pack. I would definitely buy another one, but I don’t think I’ll need to. Two weeks and this one still looks new.

This bag works as advertised. It's quite small, but can snugly fit a large-ish phone, cash, credit cards, keys, spare mask, small hand sanitizer, small powerbank, and pocket tissues. Stitching is solid and the general quality of materials is good. Good organizing pockets, albeit that the lining is quite substantial and takes up a bit of space itself (I guess it protects the interior reinforcement). The design is bland and inoffensive, with only a small unobtrusive logo to mar its otherwise respectable looks: it doesn't attract unwanted attention. I like the locking features, the built-in key/light hook (the tiny light itself is a cheap gimmick, but it does the job). I also like that only the interior card pockets are shielded from scanners. That means I can keep a keycard and transit card in the outer pocket and I don't need to take them out to scan them, but credit cards inside stay safe.

I bought this product for my month long backpacking journey to Europe simply for the slash-proof purpose. Don’t be dumb and be aware of your surroundings, it’s not that complicated to keep away from the pickpockets. An experienced traveler is still no match for a thief with a knife to your crossbody strap. I am obviously a target as a young female “tourist,” hence why I went the extra mile. The lock feature works perfect, it’s difficult even for the user to open, so I can only imagine it would take several moments of fiddling before someone snagged something from your bag if you keep the clips are secure. Buy an extra lock if you’re super paranoid, it can’t hurt! I used it as a crossbody the majority of the time. Saw a review that said they could barely fit a travel umbrella in- I don’t find that to be true. I fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max (with a bulky PopSocket wallet/case), travel umbrella, 2 passports, euros, credit cards, gum, and vape in with no issues and it did not look like it was bursting at the seams, nor was it difficult to close. Highly recommend this product, it is worth the money and it will be coming along with me on every adventure from here on out! TLDR; This product is for you if you’re an overly cautious traveler like myself. The bag is spacious and versatile. Stay alert and clip your bag after each use and your trip will go fine. Cheers!
