I expected these little dissection instruments to be total crap. And maybe time will tell. But on initial inspection and testing, this appears to be the best value around for those who just need a few small tools for an advanced home medical/first aid kit. The quality of the metal appears to be much more solid than expected at this price. Everything was properly machined, sharpened, and aligned. The satin finish is great. They have a bit of unexpected heft to them. The wallet that holds them is awesome too, though I’m not using it because they’ll all fit into a little neoprene glasses case from the dollar store, which takes up a lot less space in the kit. They’re small enough to fit easily into a small space, but big enough to do the jobs for which they’re needed. The blades are individually packaged. I’m sure they’d be great for dissecting frogs or whatever, but for my use case as a dad, stuffed animal surgeon, and EMT, I have no complaints. Only praise. Ribbit.

I bought this kit specifically for plant tissue cultures, and it’s been really reliable. The tools are sharp, easy to clean, and come organized in a nice case. I can sterilize them easily and work without worrying about contamination. For the price, it’s a solid little kit whether you’re doing plant work or anything that requires fine, sterile tools.

I got this kit for my crafting hobby. The scapels are great for cutting various materials, the clamps and tweezers are great for holding small items, and the scissors are good for cutting paper and cloth. It's a nice inexpensive little set that I can take with me when I travel. Good value for money.

I bought this tool set for dissection, but it was harder to use than I expected. The scalpel was very difficult to attach the blade to—it was extremely tight and took a lot of effort. While I do like that it comes with a case for storage, the overall quality of the tools feels a bit lacking. It’s convenient, but I expected better performance.
