How well does the cable hold up when it's completely folded while charging?

If you mean folding the cable in half so that you’re holding the battery behind your phone, I have not tried this because the cable is very short and slightly stiff. It is a FANTASTIC emergency cable that I carry with my EDC full time, but it’s not something that I would want to fold often because it is stiff enough that you would have to actively hold it in that position.

Do u first charge the charger before u charge the phone? Does the charger charge to a computer or the wall socket?

This is not a charge block, it is a charging cord in a particularly useful and convenient form. So, nothing to charge, just connect this to your device on one end and your charger on the other.
