This may seem like high praise, but this cake stand is the best thing I ever bought on Amazon. 1. It's high quality. I got the acacia wood style and both the tray and the small bowl are lovely, real wood and have a great look and feel without being heavy. The dome is clear acrylic, not glass, but that also keeps it very lightweight. 2. It's pretty! I love the wood grain. It will complement almost any kitchen. 3. It's multiple things! I had put off buying a cake stand for a long time because my apartment is small and unitaskers have no place here, plus a cake dome just naturally takes up space. However, this is so cleverly designed: it's a cake serving tray with a dome that locks into the groove on the lip of the tray. It's also a cake stand, if you set the tray on the upside-down small bowl. But it's also an appetizer tray: flip the platter over, and it's got 4 sections for veggies or chips, and the small bowl fits in the center for a dip. You can also invert the cake dome and use the whole setup as a serving bowl for salad or anything else (trifle, anyone?). The whole thing takes up less space to store than a traditional cake stand, offers more options for using it, and it's just so well designed. The price was right, too. My only wish is that they could have somehow figured out a way to make it into a turntable as well, but I wasn't expecting that and I think adding that mechanism would detract from the beautiful simplicity of the design. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend buying this!

I love love love this. It is great and has great versatility between what I need it for. I have used as a trifle dish and a cake covering. The wood looks great, I was hesitant about the acrylic instead of the glass but is still looks amazing and I don’t need to worry about the glass

Cheaply use wood came warped/ unbalanced. Little bowl could not fit into holder. Cute concept, needs better materials. Wish I didn’t have to return it

This cake plate/veggie/dip tray is awesome, serves multiple uses and I love that it’s a heavy grade acrylic. It’s perfect for my needs.

I returned the first one because the wood had split before first use. The replacement I was careful with and it ended up splitting also. I love the look and concept but I obviously also need it to stay together.

Product was handsome when it first arrived and assembled perfectly. However, it claims to be "dishwasher safe" - it is not. After the very first wash, the plastic top warped and no longer fits perfectly in the rim, the wood shrunk and split along one edge, and the dip container no longer fits in the slot underneath. If you want to try hand washing this product every time you use it, maybe it would last longer (?), but I would not buy it with the assumption you can clean it in the dishwasher. Very disappointed.

i've been looking for a cake plate forever and didn't want anything glass just for durability sake and this ended up being so beautiful and perfect. i get so many compliments on it and everyone asks where i purchased it, i have used it for pastries and for veggies and dip and it is so versatile! its light weight, easy to clean. the lid fits nice and tight down in the groove and keep all bugs out and makes pastries last forever. looks fantastic in my kitchen on the counter. looks expensive. i think i am going to buy them for christmas gifts cause its just so perfect for so many things

Disappointed. I wa so looking forward for this cake stand instead received a flat tray. Had to return it.

Honestly the best and most versatile dessert stand/food display I have ever seen. Will be buying a few more of these in the near future

I bought this for my wedding as I am hosting lunch the day after. The product was delivered just fine, but the lid is wobbly and doesn't fit in the curves. It's too bad as I don't have time to return it and order it for my event. Very disappointing
