These are great little compartments for storing SMDs.The can be separated and re-connected - handy when inserting a new value component in numeric value order.I found it a good idea to store the boxes in a clear plastic zipper bag when loaded with components, though. Those little SMDs can weasle their way out of the compartments occasionally. Being in a bag, you won't lose them - just put it back in the correct compartment when you see it in the bottom of the bag.

Some of the covers came broken. Make sure you double check the size of the container boxes with what you will put in them.

The beauty in these are their simplicity. Each door pops open because of a deformed piece of metal which applies tension on the back of the door. A plastic clip keeps the door securely closed. Each box is removable and attaches to any other box so your set can be rearranged as you obtain different values. The only thing to be weary of is that thin parts like 1206 size are able to fall out while the door is closed if you flip them upside-down.

Should not be marketed for SMD parts. They can squeeze out the gap between the lid and the container.
