I am very happy with this saffron. It's fragrant and very fresh. Very powerful, a small amount goes a long way. Gives a wonderful earthy flavor to rice, soups and casseroles. The tin keeps it fresh for a long time. There is no gummy gunk in it like I have had with other brands, sometimes the tins don't seal tight enough but this brand is great, it's dry and the perfect texture. I've purchased this product twice, a 5g tin and a 10g. It is authentic top grade Super Negin Afghani saffron and produces enough flavour for a large pot load Persian pulao with only a few threads. The taste is magnificent. I have also purchased the Kashmiri saffron, which was considerably more expensive and the Golden delivers far far more pleasure for the money. Highly recommended.
