The DTC4500 has an auto detect in its power supply to accomodate both 110 and 240 volt.

Will this print on HID rfid dr80 door access cards?

Yes. The HID Fargo DTC4500 will print on CR80 size Prox and iClass cards. Make sure your cards are printable. Printable cards have a glossy white surface.

I need to print and encode xcrfid (magnetics and chips likewise) cards, will that printer do it? any advice for one which will?

will this print bar codes on side of badge for swiping?

Yes. We used this unit with a Kronos System and printed Bar codes on the RFID badges that were used for clocking in and out.
